Shivvay was officially losing it today. He could almost taste his freedom, that was just out of his reach, and the two people who could make that happen were busy playing the "Pehele Aap" Game for heaven's sake while HIS train was looking like it was going to leave the station very soon.
This had gone far enough and he was fast losing his patience with these two love birds who seemed to have their mute buttons on. In my opinion he looked a little flabbergasted that they were not fighting for what they had, considering he and Annika had been on a war path for the last few weeks to save what they had. His look was one of a man who could not comprehend how two people, who were apparently so in love, could have such a defeatist attitude about them.
His wife's wild and desperate look was indication enough that she needed reinforcements and fast and it was time that he took the bull by it's horns.
All of Annika's pleas were falling on deaf ears and Pinky was back spewing venom at his wife again which was the last straw on the camels back for Shivvay now. Not to mention the look he gave Mrs. K who asked him to throw the REAL Mrs. Shivvay Singh Oberoi out. I swear I saw his hands wrap virtually around her throat to squeeze it even as the words were being spoken. How dare she speak that way about HER !!!!
He looked like he was going to burst a vein if one more thing was said about Annika so decided to take matters in his hands. He had to take charge of this situation soon before it slipped into Mrs.K's control again. Annika had done her part, now it was up to him to make this happen or he would lose everything he treasured in his life, which was HIS OWN WIFE.
Whether Dushyant wanted to fight for his wife or not that was his issue but there was no way in hell that Shivvay was giving up HIS WIFE today.
He was going to get his confession at any cost now, no matter who he had to dismember for that to come about. His nearly socking Dushyant was a clear indication that he was hanging on to his sanity by his fingernails and even Annika was taken aback a little at the extreme step. As for Dushyant, it was lucky that he still had his wits as well as his quick reflexes about him to dodge that punch inspite of being a little worse for wear because I think Shivvay had full intention of landing one on his jaw to kick start his brain.
Shivvay was fast losing his patience with the 2 love birds who were not fighting for what they really wanted and it was time to brew up a storm. Saying all those things was just to get a reaction at least from one if not the other before Mrs. K collected her thoughts and started doing damage control. They had taken all this effort to reach here while his WIFE had scarified almost all of her self-respect to make this happen and he would be dammed if these guys were going to spoil it all with their mute buttons on.
Neither Tia nor Dushyant were budging because Tia was still in a state of shock and worried about her mother while Dushyant was looking accusingly at Tia wondering if she wanted the same thing as Mrs.K as well. I understand where his hesitation was coming from because she HAD chosen her mother over him in the past and she might very well do that again now, so what was the point in shouting to the world that she was HIS if she did not care a damn anyways. If she didn't care about what they shared he was better off being dead for her in his opinion.
As I had pointed out that man has a very kind heart and was, I am sure, willing to sacrifice his happiness for Tia's if that is what she really wanted.
Shivvay saying the child was his must have felt like a barb in his heart especially when it was not negated by Tia while Shivvay saying don't speak my wife's name was again not negated by Tia. As far as Dushyant could see Tia would never fight for what they had and he needed to hear that HE mattered not the money, status and wealth that came with being Mrs. Oberoi. That was a choice Tia had to make for them.
Agar meri behen ... muh tod deta" - that was not so much for the Behen I feel but more for how he would react if someone had put his wife's reputation on the stand. That was Shivvay the husband speaking - not Shivvay the brother, it was very plain to see.
"Kuch kehena hai tume? Kuch kahogey?" - Speak up man!!! We are both the losers here today being played by Mrs. K in the process of losing both our WIVES. For Pete's Sake Speak Up!!!
The "Fine Then" was him done being Mr. Nice Guy. It was time to take it up a notch and take a tough stance or this was never going to happen in this lifetime with these two dorks.
"Jo Bhi Apni Behen ke liye stand.." I interpret as "Jo Pati apni Patni ke liye stand" ...lol. He is saying one thing but his body language means something else and the joke is that Dushyant is smart enough to pick up on that.
The whole "Khabardaar jo meri biwi ka naam apni ghandhi zabaan se liya" with his hands around his neck was needed to push Tia and Dushyant into reacting ...lol. It reminded me of how different it was when it was said to Daksh - he specifically said "Mrs Shivvay Singh Oberoi" not "Meri Biwi"
.. And the classic push that brought about the much needed Domino effect he intended was the last needed move. After that he retreated to fade in the background and stand beside his wife while everything took it's natural course.
Ah! All in a days work and time to enjoy the show now.
