I think I understood what's happening.

Dev was ready to give her time and keep himself away right? But he had never imagined his daughter would want to talk to him

So when she did that he forgot all about his promise and just wanted to see her and wanted to know why she wanted to see him. But that is when Sona stopped him and said wait karo

Ab jab hum Kisi cheez ko chahtey hai we go crazy for it. At that point if our parents say tum yeh nahin kar sakti

What do we do?

We go mad, say things we don't mean and the situation worsens

But then after a point we realise why they stopped us and they realise why we wanted it .And there is a peace pact

Right? Yahan bhi wahi Ho raha hai. This is the rebel stage.

But instead if making things better Ishu is instigating and she needs to be stopped. And she will be. Because nahin toh soha dev Ke saath dixits ke paas nahin ayegi

Jahan tak Devakshi ke jhagey ki baat hai, they have some assumptions about each other. They have bitter feelings at the moment which need to be gotten rid off. So they fight and fight. That acts as a cleansing process, getting the bitterness out of the system. So once it's gone, then we'll see the changes, the understandings and the slow process of bringing the love back to the surface.

Because going by the segments, Soha has already set the cycle into motion. The thing she's here for. To set the poisonous Ishwari straight and point certain things out to her, Dev and Sona. Oh and Bijoy too.

So there, that's what I think. I'm sure most of you will not agree and I also know that I could be wrong.
