So I loved Friday's episode, for the family moments, ( and also for Kaira )the kind that satisfies the heart and helps us relate to our own families.
But what made me go completely Aww ( other than our Kaira excited for their marriage which made me squeal like a little girl at the sheer adorableness of it ) was the Singhania siblings. And I wanted more of it. This is something I've thought about before too. The four siblings - Naksh, Gayu, Naira and Mishti hold such a huge soft corner in my heart.
Personally, I feel that the Goenka siblings haven't achieved that. They have their moments, but the sheer trust, love and bond that the Singhania siblings share is just...beautiful.
And I absolutely love the bond that Gayu and Naira share now. I adore sisters, and the beauty in their relation. I would like more scenes establishing their friendship, Gayu had a rocky start, it would be nice to redeem and establish the character. For some reason the image of sweet, independent and understanding (a lil too much in the beginning ) Gayu, before all the Hungama, was well received by me. And it stuck. (please don't throw tomaters at me )She would've made an awesome best friend to Kartik and along with Mishti could've been a member of Kaira ship earlier on. (I won't blame anyone if they're annoyed and think I'm obsessed, I'm not, I hope... but it just seemed like a loose end that could've been tied back together )
Moving on, recently too, there are a lot of things I want to see, and I wish would be shown before it gets buried under the progression of new tracks opening up.
- Naira breaking down about her past and about Akshara with Kartik. (but I don't know how to fit this in anymore )
- Kartik confronting Keerti and learning the truth, even if with Naira's help. (but I really wanted him to speak with her beforehand ) That is one sibling bond I want to see develop.
- Naira leaving the family in Gayu's care, the sharing of responsibility and a heart to heart scene between them along with some masti Mishti and BFF scenes.
- Gayu remembering Akshara, they had shown them sharing a special bond, and it just seems left out ( it's just my opinion, not aiming at any misunderstanding ).
- Naksh remembering and missing Akshara ( I know we've got scenes, but Duggu -Maa bond was just so special that I feel there should be more to how he came in terms with her loss. )
Not completely sentimental, but cute, beautiful memories and emotions.
- I want the swag papa - Manish Goenka back, like I wish he wasn't a complete bloke who forgot about his daughter and started behaving like GTD. In fact the whole Goenka senior clan, with the exception of Suwarna and Keerti needs some character depth and development to find a place in the viewers hearts with the current way of things.
- On a side note, there are so many current tracks running, I don't know when the Dance Academy track could be explored in its grandeur and nayi soch.
In fact, all the running tracks and potential tracks and the ideas of it is overwhelming.
I know this is a very late post, I was trying to post this on Friday itself but couldn't and I realise I went on quite a rant here. It was something that stayed unsettled in my mind, so I wrote it down and I apologize if anything I've written is in anyway offensive to anyone.
