Hi let's not divert from the topic. Let's not make comparisons between two characters.
The topic is about Gauri lets discuss what we want for Gauri.
We don't like Gauris portrayal as servant. And the topic is whether she has been hired by Shivay or not.

Shivay seems to be business like and practical person. Lets believe him when he says he hires detectives. The question is - Are there no other prefessional detectives for a tycoon than a simple village girl? Poor Shivay
I sincerely hope he can do better than this 😃 if only they want to degrade his IQ to cartoon level😡

He had hired detective long back when Swetlana had entered OM, jab abtak kuchh nhi hua to he might have thought about hiring a village girl instead

if d question is if gauri is a hired detective than a village girl sorry most of gul heroines r illiterate only one or two exceptions.so there is no chance gauri to b a hired detective by shivay.

I thought about this when Shivaay told Om to go Barelli inirder to crack a deal with Thakur and Shivaay said I'll arrange things for you. Then suddenly RiKara marriage happened.

I still feel that Gauri will not be what she appears to be, even if Shivaay hasn't hired her she still be someone different than the sarma wali gauri. On hates lies and she has already hidden her identity and DBO's first promo had Om saying.

"Pyar aik soda hai jisk badlay aapko dhoka milta hai aur mein uska khareed daar nahin".

I seriously doubt she is hired by Shivaay. How Shivaay knew about Om being attacked? I think in IB there is a scene when he tells Rudra or Priyanka (cant remember), he is worried about O, coz he cant connect to him on the phone. So maybe after that he went to Bareilly?

As for saying O is acting like S or worse? I dont think he is acting as anyone. Om was always judgmental and once he holds a grudge it takes time to let go. He is polite in general, but cross him and he wont be. He has anger issues too. (Not all the time) but with certain people or topics. (Like his Dad, or topic of home wreckers, dishonest users etc).

So in that context, he reacted to Gauri as expected. He saw things that led him to beleive she was as guilty as KT. Thakurain also said she is killing herself coz her husband is remarrying and has another woman! This is already a touchy subject. Om became judgemental. Doesnt make him right, but it's still logical. He didnt force Gauri to get married, just did it to fool those people and then he said he wont accept it. Does anyone really expect him to? One major point which is being overlooked is that this marriage does not benefit Om in ANY way. He didnt do it for his benefit. That in itself is an indication that though some of his attitudes have changed, HE is the same.

Same goes for Rudy. He has changed some of his attitudes. Like how he acted with Saumya. But he too has his reasons for doing so. Is he right? NO. But does it make him like anyone else? No as well. He is still him. Just showing another shade. ALL three Brothers are gray characters and always were. It's just that SSO was more obviously grey accept with his family. The other two guys were not, but even they are capable of it, as clearly seen.
