It was the best scene from Friday's episode... Both Dev and Sona were high on emotions. The moment Dev came to know it was his mother who was yet again the reason for his sufferings, he was once again shattered beyond repair. He didn't expect it to happen to him again... But it did... And once again his mother is the reason.
Sonakshi on the other hand was suprised to know Dev didn't even have a hint of her coming to the Dixit mansion to meet him... When she saw him all shattered, we can sense it with her expression and in her eyes, she was getting affected. She was feeling bad for him.
Sona: Ab Meri Baat Maanoge. Ya Abhi Bhi Main Jhooti Hun.
Hairani Ki Baat toh yeh hai... ki abhi bhi mujhe apneaap ko prove karna pada.
Maine Soha ko tumhare baareme sab bataya tha.
Sab sach. Kyuki use haq hai jaanne ka.
Jaise tumhara haq hai ye jaanne ka ki tumhari ek beti hai. Main tumhe tumhara haq dilwane aayi thi.

Hamare beech jo kuch bhi hua uska asar Soha pe nahi padna chahiye.
Ye uske bachpan ka sawaal hai Dev.

She made him understand on how whatever has happened between them or whatever it is today, it should not affect Soha... She should get a normal childhood... They need to be extra careful with her. Nothing should harm her... And DevAkshi are only thinking about their little daughter. They want to keep her away from any hurt and any harm. Her innocence should not be lost in all this. Sona made Dev understand and he listened to her all shattered yet calm.
Sona was the only person who can make Dev understand these things. Actually she was the only one from always... Even when they were not even friends, she used to make him understand things well and in a way helped him to take some right decisions, then they became friends, then lovers and then life partners... Dev always used to look up to Sona for advice and he has also admitted it a few times that Sona is the only one who can calm him down and make him understand the situation, like nobody else can.
After watching the episode, this scene reminded me of a DevAkshi scene post their maariage, it was when Vicky-Elena got married... Dev told Sona.
Dev: Main itne gusse me tha ki kuch bhi kar sakta tha. Lekin tumne mujhe roka.. Samjhaya.
Pata hai jaise tum mujhe calm down karti ho na. Koi nahi kar sakta... It's like magic. Aur uske baat jo main decisions leta hun... Saare sahi decisions hote hai.šā¤ļø
Is it not the same today? Yes it is... Sona made Dev understand and he once again took the correct decision to let Suhana decide on her own... To give her as much time as she wants... Stopped his family from meeting Suhana or forcing her to accept them. She needs time and he's ready to provide her with that. He's extremely protective about his daughter now. This scene had our old DevAkshi... The same emotions.. The same understanding... The same urge... It was like Dev wanted Sona to be by his side... It looked Sona wanted to comfort Dev... Dev wanted to stop her while she was leaving.
But they couldn't... Sona couldn't stop... And Dev couldn't stop her... They may be the same old DevAkshi sharing the same feelings for each other... But everything else have been changed... 7 Years have passed... Circumstances have changed... They have changed for the world... They have put on a mask to show the world to to show each other... They didn't want to let that mask break... They are still not ready to do that... But slowly after this, may be things will start changing for good. ā¤ļø ā¤ļø
