Now I come to the point of why I am making a comment disagreeing with you on why Ishita should have chastised Gulabo in private. I have not watched the episode as yet, but am just commenting as per your review:

The reasons are manifold:
1. You are looking at Gulabo as Raman, whereas Ishita is looking at Gulabo as just an employee!
2. To make matters worse, she has been hired by Mani to take care of Pihu and Shagun
3. Ishita as it is, is under deep obligation to Mani, and it was someone related to Vandu who made a big hue and cry regarding to missing fruit.
4. When you have guests in the house, especially when you are staying with someone else, you would not want the hosts to be embarrassed, however trivial the matter.

Hence, Ishita chastising Gulabo in public in my view is not a big deal. Would we be as ok with a maid or a nanny I might our just picking up a fruit which has been put on the plate for pooja?

May be Ishita felt bad later, and was looking for apologise.

Just as disclaimer once again, I love IshRa and I defend both equally.

Hope my view made sense, and no offence meant to people holding opposing view.

I did not find nothing wrong with Ishita question about the fruit to Gulbo but I did not like her snatching it from her hand nor I liked everyone going off on Gulbo especially Toshjii comments were cheap and disgusting. 😡

There are hiccups in every function it is the way in which you handle it makes the person good/bad here the whole Bhalla family failed in that respect because they went off on a person who did not know about the customs or its importance(Even though there is nothing like that in real life) because they are from different traditions.

Pihu is still the same me,myself and mine mode. She was upset because nobody gave importance to her as she is the important person as big sister. Finally Raman tells the truth to Pihu.

Romi/Raman scene was hilarious especially when Raman showed his malfunction and Romi closed his eyes😆

AA scene are exact copy of IshRA scene and it did not elicit a spark I was not again why are they recreating IshRA scene with AAThe same scene IshRA love sizzled where as this one screams of physical intimacy even though they were trying to recreate the love quotient. Ruhi giving them privacy made the scene even more disgusting.

Ishita felt bad for Gulbo after everyone started going off on her and I think she was searching her to make sure she had food.

Precap: Looks like CV are telling Gulbo is for Pihu/Shagun.

shaguns mom and brother are never interested in her
it's only the bhallas who consider her their beti even if she tries to kill their dil and children

I haven't watched the episode.
But based on your review.
Just my POV.
I somehow felt this orange-gulabo scene like a metaphor.
The oranges were like the babies produced by shags.
At the time of the first leap.
Ishu caught the new born when Pihu was flung by Nidhi.
Ishu behaved like a normal human being with feelings.
Sadly Ruhi was lost.Not ishu's direct fault.
But all,especially Raman yelled at her for her mistake.
The whole scenario was an accident.
But Ishu was considered unforgivable by one n all.
Any understanding person will accept that there are more still.
Oranges or kids.
Now Raman is in the place of Ishu.
Shags is considered the goddess with the offering.
Raman would have got a small fraction of an idea of how Ishu was made to feel repeatedly .
Being insulted in front of a gathering filled with ungrateful ppl.
Raman would have been shown the mirror.
