Another 'entertaining' episode.😛
I think if we ignore the black magic rubbish being shown, it's actually quite interesting to watch the layers of the leap slowly being pulled back to reveal what's been happening to Atharv over the last four years.
As we all suspected, everything is not as it seems. On the face of it, Atharv is happily married to Guddi who obligingly fills in the gaps in his memories starting with the fact that it was he who named her. But Guddi slipped up. She told him a completely different story of how he gave her her name to the one she had told him previously and he questioned her about it. But Guddi quickly recovered. She's had years of practice in fooling her 'husband'.
And we discovered exactly how she managed to control him. By drugging him with the drugs provided by Suman. And as Atharv fell into a deep sleep, Guddi snuck out to meet her lover. Chintu. The marriage with Atharv was all a sham as she was in love with the guy who had harrassed her all those years ago. And the baby she was expecting? That was probably Chintu's too.
But as Atharv slept, he was haunted by dreams, of faces that he could not quite see. Shadowy images that woke him up with a start and made his heart beat faster. Although he has been kept drugged and subdued, the memories of the two women iwho meant more to him, then life were still deep in his heart trying to make it to the surface of his mind.
And as Atharv was being drugged by his wife, his 'mother' Suman drugged his son.
Madhav, who just like his father could read people, was suspicious of Suman and she needed to control him as she controlled his father. So together with a mixture of drugs and hypnosis, she tried to convince Madhav to trust her.
But before she could complete her plan, Vividha woke up and saw that Madhav was missing. She woke up Ravish and the rest of the family who began to look for the missing child.
In the pre-cap, Suman tells Guddi to increase Atharvs drug dose to suppress his emerging memories.
We are slowly being shown what horrendous harm is being done to Atharv by Suman in order to control his mind and we are disgusted. So far the focus has been on Atharv and Guddi.
But what about Vividha.
We are still completely in the dark as to her story over the last four years. She was shown sleeping on the same bed with Ravish, but Madhav slept between them. There still seems to be a great distance and awkwardness between them. Are they really a happily married couple, or is there more to it then meets the eye?
