Bang on post 👏 well said

Omkara doesnt know Gauri before but from whatever he saw or heard he thinks that she is another Swetlana. Imo its just a misunderstanding I dont think he is being judgmental. After whatever he heard about Gauri from Janvi, the two ladies in the hospital and the villagers anyone would misunderstand Gauri because we audience know that Gauri was innocent but how will Om know that she is innocent he is not a mind reader and to add to it he saw Gauri smiling and dancing how will Om know that it is her plan.

Coming to Gauri she had so many chances of telling Om that she is doing all this for her mom but No even she dint.

Om says that he has changed he has no feelings but still he is the same he gets affected by all this. He would have not married Gauri if he is not Om. He would have not been calm if he was not Om. He is still the same emotional Om who gets affected by the events happening around him. Om has just build a wall around him so that he doesn't breakdown again and he has completely lost or forgot smiling. I dont know till how many days we have to wait to see Om smiling wholeheartedly again 😊

Imo Om even in his new OSO avatar is still different from other Tele ML's and Tej and his Bhaiya. OSO gets angry but only when the situation demands like he tried to speak to Gauri first then only he destroyed her shop but Gauri gave it back equally by crushing his car.. but after that he just forgot it and he was just calm and behaved normally with her. If it was some other person in his place I dont think they would have behaved the same way with Gauri.

when Om saw Gauri with Thakur and after whatever Janvi said he started hating Gauri but he never went to Gauri and insulted her or something... Om always tried to avoid her but it was always Gauri who came in his ways and he started thinking that she is following him again we audience know she is not following but how will he know. After their marriage again he first tried to explain her in a calm way but she was saying the same thing again and again so he pushed her (I am not supporting him here the pushing is unwanted but I know its Gul's show so it will be there)

Imo both Om and Gauri are strong personalities and they both were rude thats why I like them. Om throwing cash was rude, he pushing her down after marriage was rude then Gauri bringing his parents in between their conversation and Gauri raising hand on him was also rude and that too twice If it was Om or any other male lead we would have made so many post but since its a FL then we dont have any problem.

Gauri or Gauri's mom or the Kids could have told Om the truth but what to do cvs want to continue the misunderstanding 😊

I agree with the point that Om is not a mind reader, therefore does not know what actually happened with Gauri! She is a stranger he met that week. Whatever happened was taken at face value. He met KT, met Jhanvi Thakurain and also Gauri. Three people in the same story. The person he had empathy with was Jhanvi. He found her in distress and when she accused her husband and his other woman, Om had no reason not to believe her. Especially after hearing comments from the other women at the hospital about KT's impending marriage to a "younger woman".

Yes Om is Prejudiced. That I can see from a mile away. However in this instance, the show makers have taken time to explain the prejdueice. For someone watching this show today, they gave the FB's of Om's parents! So they "get" the reasons behind his way of thinking! I have NO issues with grey leads in fact they are my favourites! But to me it needs to make "Sense". I have followed several shows with grey male leads and now a grey female lead. I loved them all. The reason being, why they are the way they are is Explianed. Why they have this attitude is explained. Then one can connect to it! We are not watching to see "perfection" in anyone. But prejudices and attitudes people have have to make sense. No one just "becomes" the way they are for no reason! Isske piche Waja kya hai? We need to know that to understand and connect to a character! At least I do!

Om throwing money? Distasteful. Om ignoring Gauri asking for help? Rude and insensitive. Om pushing her? I actually think he was trying to "dislodge" her when she came back behind him again and when he shoved her hand away she fell. He didn't literally turn around and push her. Before that he had actually taken the time to "explain" why he doesn't think this marriage is real. But she continued to question him and he said very clearly he will not let her "Use this situation" to make herself a permanent fixture in his life!

But the very fact that he DID save her showed that despite his prejudice his humanity is still in tact! Like Elvi, I also feel if he HAD known she was not guilty and saved her then it would not have meant as much! Anyone will try to save an innocent? But how many will save someone they feel is guilty but still feels they don't deserve to be punished in this way. He said "The Law" should take care of her if she has instigated suicide and double crossed someone. But of course the crazy mobs don't care for such legalities. So he did what he could do to get rid of those Gawar people ready to murder someone! His judgemental attitude is based on his OWN experiences! Also, Gauri only said that this is her "Majboori". She never said KT will Kill my mother if I don't marry him! So I don't get why Om who has already been conned by crying con girl Ishana, betrayed by social worker Ridhimma, and has to tolerate chalu cheez like Svetalana, would put much stock in the "tears and majboori" of a perfect stranger? One would say he is "Asking for it!" That doesn't just apply to women, it applies to men too! Om should have thanked Gauri for bringing him to the Dargah and getting him out of that jungle! That was rude. But at least he DID help when the situation was at its worst! As long as the behaviour makes some sense I can accept it!

the fans here astound me a lot, first they fought for Obros, and when SSO entered DBO, they mocked him why he came and they didnt need him?

i'm majorly neutral and except i love RuMya more, but your post is strange...

sorry i'm a very frank person, and i dont care if people like me or hate me...
but i like when people are genuine instead of deforming truths to tally with their favorites.

still i agree that Om isnt wrong here, he married to save her... no big deal.
both arent married out of their own will, so Om has the right to reject Gauri

I don't think the two situations you are comparing are actually comparable. The person in question knew the girl for around 5 months and knew her character and her personality. She had many times put her life and even her reputation on the line to save him or a family member of his from harm. Then some cheap friend of his puts the moves on her and sets up some fake scenario to show she was willing to sell herself for money, and he beleives HIM? That was a huge betrayal of Her trust in him! Not the other way around. Also, she was single and so was his friend. They were consenting adults! If they chose to have a relation, that is still their business. They are not breaking anyone's home. The taking money part was what made it cheap. But I was appalled that he would actually believe she'd take money!

If THAT can be excused, then Om not trusting a perfect stranger after he has met several females who betrayed and conned him is actually to be expected. This time he became prejudiced right away after what he heard and saw. He didn't think he should waste time with "benefit of doubt". One can only compare two situations which are the SAME. This is not.

As for OBros moments? I have not been on the forum much so never saw any "mocking posts" of Shivaay coming to DBO? Maybe I missed something? I also don't understand why people are now saying OBros are the USP of the show and showing concern for OBro moments when OBro fans were constantly told that just coz the "Promos" said the show is about Three Brothers and they are on the banners doesn't mean it is actually like that etc. But the fans of the Brothers always argued that this show was first and foremost the story of Brothers, and that is why each of their stories need to be told and focused on. Now finally it is! A spin off should not have been needed for that, but was in the end due to them not doing justice to their proposed story in the first place! This show was never supposed to be about one guy or one couple, which was always the point of OBro fans! I ONLY watched this show for the Brothers, so I was naturally disappointed. But now I am glad they are focusing on the other two. I am not as invested in the love stories, but I am also partial to RUMYA.
