There was a time when Ayesha Takia was known for her girl-next-door personality and unconventional looks. The actress, who went missing from Bollywood after giving us films like Socha Na Tha, Salman Khan starrer Wanted and critically-acclaimed Dor, was seen at a recent Mumbai event yesterday. And it took us some time to realize that it's her. Her lips looked unnaturally swollen and cheeks puffed. Before we could even know, her pics went viral and netizens were as heartbroken as we were. Everyone is discussing Ayesha Takia's makeover. It's all over the internet especially on Twitter where the actress has become a butt of jokes. Ayesha looks almost unrecognisable now and when she was spotted at an event two days ago, her before and after pictures went viral on social media. She got trolled on social media big time until she finally decided to shut down haters. No, she hasn't made any official statements about the drastic makeover she has undergone but she posted a pic on her official Insta handle which we are assuming is her way of shutting down trolls. "You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches," reads the quote.

A couple of hours later, she shared yet another post, the caption of which reads: "Crazzzy long arm me takin selfies! Y not lol! #StopSelfieShaming All u girls n guys who love urself enough to take ur own picture and feel good about it should be proud. Don't let anyone tell u to dim ur confidence and self love. We live in a world of judgements and bullying, so we need to rise above that n just be who we are and be proud of it. LOVE URSELF #ayeshatakia".


The world of social media is filled with all kinds of people. If one is on social media, especially a celebrity, then they need to be prepared for some nasty comments coming their way. While some actors decide to keep mum, there are others like Ayesha Takia, Disha Patani, Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra who know how to give it back to haters online. If you actually go to see Ayesha's pictures from her initial days there is quite a difference. It is quite obvious that she does not look like how she used to. The Socha Na Tha actress is all set to make a comeback in Bollywood and that she is in talks with two production houses for two projects that will start taking shape very soon. She has also shot for a music video for Amit Mishra in December 2016 which will be out soon. This will be the first time we will see Ayesha on screen after her marriage. "We had to convince Ayesha a lot. She's reluctant about taking up acting offers because she wants to do something substantial. She's a mother now and that comes first for her. She probably agreed to feature in our video because it was just a two-day shoot in Mumbai," director of the music video, Lovely Singh, said while talking to TOI.
