Four years later...
Seriously, if I had never seen this show and had just randomly caught it on TV today, I would have thought this was the final episode. Because everyone seemed pretty happy.
Ravish is now a dhoodhwala, living in the tabela, happily milking cows and playing 'daddy' to his 'son'.
Daadi, Bua Daadi, and Uma are all helping Vividha run their milk business and are quite happily living together, squabbling like women do.
We have a cute, naughty kid called Madhav who is the apple of his mum and dad's eyes.
Sujata, happily came to wish Ravish and Vividha a happy anniversary(despite them both forgetting) and even asked them to hug. How sweet!
Vividha is married to Ravish and has become a stern and successful business woman.
And Atharv...oh wait...I mean Raghav. Well he's a successful businessman, happily married too and he's got a child on the way. And to top it all he's got a new mother...Suman, who gave the biggest smile when she saw her 'son'.
Everyone's happy, everyone's moved on.
The End.
Or is it just the beginning?
If Ravish and Vividha are really happily married, then why does Vividha's hate for Atharv still linger in her heart? Why has she not been able to forget the man she loved with her life and forgive him for leaving her if she is so happily married to Ravish? Why is she so cold hearted?
And why is Ravish now living in the tabela without his mother? Why didn't he and Vivi hug happily when Sujata asked them to on the joyful occasion of their anniversary?
And why is Atharv called Raghav now? Why does he seem a little strange?
And Suman? Why was she so happy to see the man she so hated and blamed for everything!
And the big question of course...Who is Madhav's father?
The first episode after the leap has thrown so many questions. On the surface, everyone seems to be living happily ever after but there are so many undercurrents lingering around every character.
We have a long road ahead before any of these questions are answered, but there is one thing I'm absolutely sure about!
This story is the story about Atharv and Vividha and their 'pyar ka fitoor'(obsessive love). The real story after the leap does not begin till they meet.
Until then, hold on tightly. It's going to be a bumpy ride!
