That's right kany. But you see he has respect and love for his mother..
He was feeling bad for rangeela as well.. It was quite visible in the last scene..
I m not rooting for shiveer but I feel he does have a heart.
though he can't change for shivani.. That's not veer!! He just can't change for anyone..
