Akki- Bhumi Wraps up Toilet - Ek Prem Kata, ready 4 release

Akshay Kumar and actress Bhumi Pednekar have wrapped up the shoot schedule of their forthcoming movie Toilet- Ek Prem Katha, reports a leading daily. Interestingly the film has Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swacch Bharat Abhiyan as a major part of the story. The film has been much- talked about ever since the shoot began and just recently Akshay's on- the- set pictures where he was seen buying pipes went viral on social media. The actor RULED 2016 with phenomenal performances in Ruston and Airlift and now in 2017 too, he is on a roll. His latest film Jolly LLB 2has managed to pull it off well at the box office. Toilet- Ek Prem Katha is produced by Aruna Bhatia, Plan C Studios and Abundantia, and presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and KariArj Entertainment. It will be the first time that Akshay will be seen in the same frame with the Dum Laga Ke Haisha famed star Bhumi for a movie. The film is also is reported to be quite similar to a Gujarati film Narayandas Pay And Use. From what we know, Toilet- Ek Prem Katha is a love story between Akshay Kumar's character and Bhumi Pednekar's. So the plot of the film revolves around the pay-and-use toilet scheme. It lays emphasis on how important it is to stop defecating in public be it in in cities or towns. It's about man who runs ones of these P&U toilets, falls in love with a girl living in the slums who comes to use the toilet and eventually they end up getting married. The film also talks about the wave of social change sweeping across India. starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role, the film also has Anupam Kher. Toilet- Ek Prem Katha will be releasing this year on June 2.
