Jagga Jasoos' makers search for a better release date due to clash and exams
The makers of Jagga Jasoos' are on a look-out for a better date to release their much-delayed film, which was first scheduled to release during the Christmas weekend in 2014 and has been delayed multiple times over the last 3 years.
With Sarkar 3' taking the April 7 date and the board exams scheduled to begin on March 9 and end on April 29, the makers are seeking a better date.
"Jagga Jasoos' is a family holiday film. Since exams are pushed at most of the places.. we are contemplating the delay.. Only if we get a better date" the director of the film, Anurag Basu, tweeted on Monday.
The director was quick to add that the team, for now, is getting ready for a April 7 release.
"But for now team is getting ready for 7th April" he tweeted.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead, Jagga Jasoos' is a comedy-drama film.
