News is that Ekta Kaul has put down her papers and quit the show owing to personal reasons. She will finish shooting within this month.

I still hope Ekta Kaul remains in the show. I have loved her as Riya.

However if she doesn't then certainly a new female lead will need to be signed up. It's ironic & surprising that off late the male & female lead hardly get any screen space in MAM. The show shows a lot Sarla-Shanti-Pari scenes.

I'm giving a list of some of my favorite actresses.

Feel free to name your choice too, outside the options also.

Best thing of Ekta is her chemistry with Karam in the show, & no one will match ShivYa

The best option would be to end the show
