Wow!
We've all been waiting for days for Vividha to give both brothers a piece of her mind for playing pass the parcel, and boy did she start today! And she hasn't finished!
The episode started off from where it left off yesterday with vivi dragging a reluctant Atharv to the mandap. No matter how many times he protested and told her he didn't want to get married, she completely ignored him. Every time he tried to get up she just pulled him back down and told him to sit quietly.
As the rest of the family looked on unable to say a word in front of a fiery Vividha, a desperate Atharv looked at Sujata pleading to her with his eyes to stop the wedding. But Sujata was smart. She could see how determined Vividha was and there was no way she was coming in between them.
The pandit then told Vividha that it was time to put the garlands on each other. It was quite funny to see both Vividha and Ravish forcefully pulling Atharv up and then make him put the garland on Vivi. Atharv's helplessness was pretty hilarious. He was desperate to stop the wedding and tried every trick in the book but Vivi was having none of it.
When the time came for the knot to be tied, again no one moved. But did Vii care? Nope! She just tied the knot herself. Eventually the pandit called for the pheras to start, and Vividha flashed back to all the times Atharv wanted to marry her and their vachans. She knew Atharv was faking his illness and she was going to get him to admit it. But either way, she wasn't going to stop the wedding even if it meant she was going to lead the pheres.
Finally, the assassin that had been hired to kill Atharv took a shot but missed. However, he was spotted by Ravish who rushed to apprehend him. And as Ravish told everyone that a shot had been fired, Vividha collapsed in Atharv's arms.
And all the pretence dropped, because Atharv can see anything but he can't see Vivi harmed in anyway. As he desperately tried to wake her, Vivi opened her eyes and told him that he forgot his act. She had known all along he was faking it.
My heart went out to Vivi at that point. She tearfully asked Atharv why he didn't want to marry her? She had been begging him and he'd been continuously refusing. Even when Atharv wanted to just walk away and not talk about it, she didn't give in. She wanted answers.
And finally Atharv told her why he had been acting this way. Because his brother loved Vivi and she had begun to love him too. But then Ravish stepped forward and told Atharv that Vividha loved only him. As the brother's continued to argue, Vividha just clapped her hands sarcastically.
And she slayed! Was she a doll that both brothers could pass on to each other whenever they wished. Did she not have any feelings that should be considered. And when Atharv tried to interrupt she just told him to shut up!
In the pre-cap Ravish slaps Atharv and Vivi slaps him right back for hurting her Atharv! Brilliant!
We've been waiting so long for this Vivi to show up, to say how she really feels and to tell the brothers it's not about what they want, it's about what she wants. it's her choice. Her right to choose.
Like I said, Vivi hasn't finished yet! Tomorrow she's going to give them both hell. I can't wait!
