I can believe this. Sharmila Begum had no problem when he divorced her. It was as if "Good riddance". But yet she never opposed when he got married to her. I guess she was thinking that Amrita will take care of him.

And I suppose it's possible that she was really rich once. She was related to some Pakistani general through her mom and her dad had Khushwant Singh's family as relatives. And KS father was Sobha Singh who was said to own at least half of Delhi at one point probably for services to the East India Company. He had testified against Bhagat Singh in court.

But I don't think Vidya has ever pretended to be rich, be it after her super stardom or after her marriage to SRK. She is just like a commoner in every interview or picture she posts.

Arora sisters, Neha Dhupia and the kinds...how do they pay for such lavish lifestyle? It was reported that Feroz Khan was totally broke when he died. Fardeen Khan apparently got some money from his shady Dubai contacts and paid off debts.

Fardeen's father in law is riche rich..His 5 generation can have comfortable life now

I think Saif isn't pretend rich. Until a few years back, Pataudi Palace was leased to Neemrana Hotels and was used for tourism or shooting purposes. Recently, Saif got it out of the lease from Neemrana and the palace is solely the Pataudi royal family now.

As per what I read few years back, Saif's family home in Delhi was valued at some 500 crores. I haven't seen the house of course but the locality that was mentioned is the prime locality in Central-South Delhi and houses the richest of the riches.

Plus all the money Saif must have earned as a producer/actor and Kareena has made a lot of money too. Agreed that their lifestyle must be really expensive to afford, but I am sure Saif owns properties other than the palace, family homes in Delhi and Mumbai too.

And all that Bhopal royal family property that he must have inherited as well. Even though he may not be the custodian, but as per the royal rules, every royal gets a certain amount of money for their expenses.

This could be because of all the interest/rent they must be earning on all the money/royalty/properties they own.
