A girl, her father, her brother, her lover

Naira is a girl who will always stand up for what she thinks is right. She doesn't take a moment before raising her hand to slap the creep. (Though she doesn't slap him, and why should she spoil her mehndi for creep, he ain't worth it.)



Naksh the protective brother he is immediately rushes to her to ask what happened



And as soon as he gets to know, he hurts the guy who touched his sister.



Her brother is effected by this whole incident to such an extent that there are tears in his eyes. Tears of feeling failure, failure to protect his baby sister.



Not the one to stay silent, her lover comes and angrily catches the creeps collar and about to throw a punch at him only to be held back by his family.




While the Goenkas blindly side their fallen from heaven, only can do good damad. Naksh and Karthik are convinced that what Naira says is the truth. Even as Karthik is about to leave and Naira once again tells him that she feels she has not been mistaken, he tells her, he trusts her.




One thing Naira is really lucky about is the important men in her life. Be it her father, her brother or her lover. Not once did they think Naira could have been mistaken. What she said was final for them, not once did they ask her any questions. All of them were shaking with anger and needed others to hold them back.





Naira is a girl who stands up for what is right, but having men like Naitik, Naksh and Karthik in her life makes it easier to stand up against anything.

Excellent post. Exactly what I wanted to say. I really loved Naira's reaction. Through out she stood by what happened. Not deterred by what her would be in-laws thought. Kirit's request to her did quiet her words but not for long. I loved this fighting spirit.

Without N2K, who had so much faith in her, it would have been hard to voice herself. She still would, but she would be second guessed by so many people.

Family support really means alot to everyone, especially Naira, wasn't that the reason Naira left as her family as a teenager because she felt her mother didn't trust her.

If he thinks all girls suffer silently like Kirti, it was just because he hadn't met Naira yet.

It was so heart warming to see that the men in her life didn't waste a second to believe her words. None of them, not even Kartik, had a sliver of doubt.

The Goenkas make me sick really!

Goenkas have the most regressive thinking ever. Like Karthik said, even if it was accidental it was wrong and they should have made creep apologize for it. Even if you forget about him touching her inappropriately on purpose, it is normal to say sorry if you bump into someone while dancing.
