So, we are angry that it seems Om turning to OSO and the story is similar to Gul's past shows. I am going to generalize the thing over all the fields and then say something.
Gul has a lot on stake- money, cast and name. Being involved in research where projects are funded for long term, I see the difference in the intent and what finally happens. In fact the project I was involved in was too ambitious, had set an awesome ground but it couldn't deliver as great results though it did deliver the conventional ones.
What I am trying to say is this: sometimes, because you have to deliver something, the innovation falls flat midway and to justify that you have to go back to conventional ways which happened with Gul too. As a Om fan, i am disappointed, but as a professional I understand that these things happen and you can't control it even if you want to.
So, let's be a little forgiving, watch DBO till it holds our interests, come up with our versions of the story through ffs,ss etc. on how we would have taken the story further and have awesome discussions.
