Naitik - Naira! Where did you keep the blue file?
Naitik walks up the steps leading to his room. As he stepped into his room, the picture on the wall caught his eyes. He walked closer to the picture and caressed it.
It was a picture taken during Karthik and Naira's wedding, which had taken place the previous week. Naira and Karthik had happily posed with Naitik, Naksh and Akshara's picture. Naira had made sure that the picture was framed up and displayed prominently on the wall so that Naitik would always see it.
It was only then that Naitik realized that Naira was no longer in the Singhania Sadan. She was happily married to the love of her life and was residing with her in-laws at the Goenkas Villa.
Naitik sits down on his bed and reminisces about his Princess who was now Karthik's Queen.

Kehta Hai Baabul
Kehta Hai Baabul O Meri Bitiya
Tu Toh Hai Mere Jigar Ki Chitthiya
Kehta Hai Baabul O Meri Bitiya
Tu Toh Hai Mere Jigar Ki Chitthiya
Daakiya Koi Jab Aayega, Tujhko Chura Ke Le Jayega
Katega Kaise Lamha Tere Bina Bata
Jeeunga Kaise Tanha Tere Bina Bata
Katega Kaise Lamha Tere Bina Bata
Jeeunga Kaise Tanha Tere Bina Bata
The father says
The father says to his daughter
That You are like a letter of my heart
The father says to his daughter
That You are like a letter of my heart
One day a postman (Your lover) will come and steal You from me
How will I pass my time without You, tell me (my daughter)
How will I be able to live alone without You, tell me
How will I pass my time without You, tell me
How will I be able to live alone without You, tell me
Naitik recalled the day Akshara had found out that she was pregnant again. It was an unplanned pregnancy but the two of them took it as a god's gift. The gestation period was harder since they had to Naksh as well. The entire family was looking forward to the new addition to the family. Naitik remembered the day Naira was born. That moment when Naitik held Naira in her arms, he was at the top of the world. That moment, he felt like his mother had been reborn as his daughter. Naira grew up to be an all-rounded child just like Akshara. She was Naitik's princess and the love he had for her was simply unexplainable.
Tu Suhagan Rahe, Sang Saajan Rahe Raat Din
Is Khushi Ke Liye, Har Sitam Main Utha Lunga
Tere Jaane Ka Gham Mujhko Hoga Magar Ladali
Leke Is Dard Ko Main Sada Muskuraunga
Baabul Toh Dil Se De Raha Dua Yahi
Khushi Ke Saaye Mein Ho Zindagi Teri
Baabul Toh Dil Se De Raha Dua Yahi
Khushi Ke Saaye Mein Ho Zindagi Teri
May You always be married, may Your husband be beside You all day and night
For the sake of this happiness (of Yours), I'm ready to face any difficulties
There will be pain of Your separation, my beloved daughter
But I'll hold this pain and keep on smiling
Your father is praying with all his heart
That may Your life remain in the shade of happiness forever
Your father is praying with all his heart
That may Your life remain in the shade of happiness forever
Naitik recalled the day Naira had told them that she was in love with Karthik. Naitik had been so fond of Naira that he still saw her as a little girl. It was only then that he realized that his princess that grown up and was ready to be someone else's queen. Naitik was afraid of whether Karthik would take good care of his daughter but over time, Naitik realized that there could be no one better than Karthik for Naira. He remembered the unfateful day when Akshara had met with an accident and had died. His entire world had shattered but Naira managed to rebuild it. When her marriage approached, Naitik was apprehensive to let Naira go away from him. However, his daughter deserved all the happiness in the world and so Naitik cast all his fears aside and made the arrangements.
Waqt Ke Saath Zakhm Yeh Bhar Jayega
Pal Guzar Jayega Tu Meri Baat Maan Le
Yaadon Ke Aasre Umr Kat Ti Nahi
Hai Haqeeqat Yahi Ab Tu Jaan Le
Samandaro Ka Paani Koi Na Pee Saka
Akela Khara Jeevan Koi Na Jee Saka
Samandaro Ka Paani Koi Na Pee Saka
Akela Khara Jeevan Koi Na Jee Saka
This wound will heal with the passage of time
These moments (of grief) will pass, I'm sure of it
Life can't pass in thinking about the past (with the help of memories)
This is the truth, know this
No one is able to drink the water of the seas
In the same way, no one can live alone forever
No one is able to drink the water of the seas
In the same way, no one can live alone forever
Tears rolled down his cheeks as he recalled the day his daughter left their home to start her new life. He knew she wouldn't like to see him breakdown so he had sent her off happily. The moment she left, he had broken down and wept. The pain he went through that day was equally bad as when he lost his mother and wife. Naira had been so special to him. The only thing that made him feel relieved was that the family she was going to would treat her like a daughter.

It has been a week since Naira had gotten married. Today, Naitik was finally returning back to work. He had gotten so used to Naira's presence after Akshara's death that he had forgotten she was now married. Naitik wipes his tears and gets back onto his feet. He takes a deep breath and recalls Akshara's words - "Life has to go on!" Naitik goes to his drawer and starts searching for the file when his phone starts ringing.
Naitik - Hello!
Naira - Hi Papa! How are you? I know you would be looking for the blue file so I called to say that it is in the left side drawer.
Naitik smiles. That moment, he knew that his Princess would always be with him - in his heart.
