I must pen something down, seeing how Whispa has bailed out tonight :)
You do not love someone because they are perfect, you love them in-spite of the fact that they're not. VITHARV did not fall in love with each other because they were perfect. They fell in love with each others' flaws which made them more real. Tonight their fight and their night reminded us of exactly who they are for one another.
They may fight, but when they need other, they will always be there regardless of the situation.
Tonight both were angry with each other. He has accused her of loving someone else and she finds such accusations repulsive. She never once opened her heart for Ravish, because her heart and soul belonged to one man only: ATHARV SUJATA, so for him to accuse her of not loving him, was equivalent to having a dagger pierced through her heart. It stopped it from beating (however melodramatic this may sound, that was her feeling which she echoed loudly tonight).
The episode started with Vividha and Atharv trying to compose themselves after what had transpired. However, it does not take long for reality to dawn on her, that the very man standing in front of her had accused her of loving another man. He even said to her that it did not matter to him, if she left him. So how dare he stand in front her, demanding she goes back home with him? Why does he care now? She can choose to live or die, its her life after all and he said so himself that he did not care. So why the drama? She demanded an answer from him. He refused to answer her, and when she grabs his collar demanding he listens to her, he grabs her possessively demanding she goes back home. She refuses, saying she did not trust him with the task at hand, he knew where she was getting at, but he carried on explaining to her that this was real life shit, and that terrorists were not gali ka gunda, but she refused to listen and mocked him instead. Both realised they were not going to listen to one another another, so they elect to go their different ways. As he walks away from her he realises, what he had just said, so he stops and remembers their incident that led them to fall for another, and turns around to call out for her. She realises instantly from his voice that this time, he was not going to let her go, so she runs as fast as she can, stumbling in her way, as he shouts out her name in desperation, hoping she will stop being her stubborn self.
And look, she gets only a few meters away from him, and she lands herself in deep shit. The scream he lets out with her name, tells you exactly how scared he was. He did not hesitate twice before jumping into that ice water to save her. As he does so, the word * FARAK NAHI PADTA* echoes in the background as if to say *look Atharv, you ass, you care*
He thought he had lost her, and you can sense the tension in his body when he brings her to that little hut thing. He was scared. He knew his words could come true and he refused to allow anything to happen to her. He tried to warm her up by setting up a fire and transporting the heat through his hands, but it was not helping. He realised she needed her clothes removed, and he sets upon that task with so much regret in his eyes. He never wanted to do this, but it became a DO OR DIE situation for him and he had no choice. As he takes off her clothes, he looks away, with tears rolling down his eyes. He then eventually manages to get her clothes off, but even then it was of no use as she kept gasping because of the cold. He realises he needs to take his own shirt off and provide her with some body contact, and at first he doesn't hesitate but then the reality dawns upon him, and immediately a sense of hesitation comes into play, and he cries as he realises the severity of the situation. She holds his hand hoping he understands that she has full faith in him. He eventually moves the blanket and takes his rightful place. Did it happen? That is for you to ponder upon.
But when she held his hand reassuring him that she understands even in her semi-conscious way, it breaks him even more. He removes her hand and then places his own hand on top of hers to reassure her that he understood what she was saying.
She wakes up with the sun shining brightly. She was there naked and not once did she question why she was naked with him sitting there. He sat there guarding her (how poignant was that?) and he informs her that she no longer had to worry because he will help her. She smiles and says *HUM*. She knows with him by her side she can accomplish anything. When they eventually left and ran together holding each others' hands, it went to show that this was their battle together now. They were going to save Ravish because they had made a promise to Suman that they would return him back home safely. And when they noticed the guards, note how Vividha automatically goes behind Atharv and his hand goes towards her in a protective manner. She knows he is her protector. She looked after him when he wasn't able to do so himself, and now he will do the same for her and ensure her promise is fulfilled too.
The precap was extremely important: He lifted the sharp fences with his back so she would not be scratched by it. He will always be there as a shield for her, no matter what. He might be a moron sometimes, but she knows that and fell in love with that part of him. And likewise, she is a stubborn witch, but he loves that about her too. No wonder he relents easily. He knew her running away from him and nearly dying, meant he had to do something or else he would end up losing her for good.
