Whilst staying away from writing a proper analysis for quite a while now, I found mojo in a hopeless show! š
Tonight's episode proved that, it's neither the men nor the Ghulaam who's "khaas" in the show- it's the women!
Yes, you read it right!
The ladies are a treat and they are the ones actually in power- simply because they let their men believe that they are powerful while pulling the strings in the shadows.
Let's start with the Desi Cersei Lannister- Gulguli. Her character bears a striking similarity to that of Cersei, with a small difference. While Cersei put all her attention into Joffrey- the oldest, Gulguli does the same with Veer- the youngest.
I wanted that tamacha to be more impactful, though. But koi na, it was long due. š
Hats of to Zahida for the whole saving-Shivani-from-fire scene, btw! š š
She was too good! The women won the episode tonight! I swear, I wasn't even looking at Veer tonight and that's saying something! š
Redhee is emerging to be another darling! Was I the only one who got some creepy "Antarmahal" feels when she deliberately tried to, I don't know, seduce Rangeela somehow? š¤
Poor woman is definitely deprived and I have a feeling that what Priya says about her husband being gay can be true- given that my assumption of him being impotent is untrue. Either way I'll give a bow to the mahaan ST if he manages to pull off either of the two scenarios and execute it in a mature manner!
And today I'm convinced that she's the reason behind Manmeet becoming a bewra. She saw weakness and struck the chord immediately! She is eliminating all possible contenders for the Berahampur throne because she surely knows about her husband's disinterest in being physical with her- or any woman for all we know.
Veer is the biggest thorn of her path right now. He has everything going for him and he's willful- he can't be manipulated into drowning himself in drugs and alcohol. So, how would she get to him...through Shivani, of course.
That is IF Shivani continues to be the girl she was before being brought into B'pur- but alas, that is not going to be the case.
Here we now have our third Girl Power candidate! For the first time in 3 weeks, I felt that Niti was given a solid scene in the show!
Not just because she wasn't crying (which is a good riddance, tbh), but because she was voicing her opinions, her emotions. Slowly, very slowly she's rising from the ashes. She's using Gulguli's words and the whole situation as a leverage for survival.
Today, it became clear, she's not in love with Rangeela. She never was, to begin with. Nor was Rangeela, for that matter. She said this herself that she doesn't believe in love. However, she considers the bond of marriage to be sacred. She considers Rangeela's actions against this bond to be the worst insult a married woman can possibly endure.
She isn't afraid of death, she has witnessed it and felt it's breath on her face but she stopped caring. And there is a saying "The fiercest enemy is the one who has nothing to lose".
I loved loved LOOVVVEEDD the last bit of the episode tonight! You can actually see the chemistry between these three ladies and it's a treat to the eyes!
I loved how Rashmi, whilst being scarred the worst among the three, is being such an absolute sweetheart to Shivani. Her bravery doesn't come from trying to run away and defying her in-laws like Shivani's does. It comes from her ability to love and care for another victim like her when circumstance should have rendered her incapable to do any of it! ā¤ļø
Can we have more of Redhee-Niti-Sareeka scenes please?? I'm in love with them already!
Also, sorry boys, par aaj ka episode toh ghar di Jenaanion de naal tha! š³
