They have made you laugh and go weak in your knees.. They have made you cringe and skip a heartbeat! Your favourite television characters have gotten you so engrossed and involved in the show that you start resonating their emotions.

After the faltu moments, Next in our 'BestOf2016' marathon, we have the most heartbreaking scenes that we saw this year. Of course, our opinion would definitely differ from yours, but we analyse them more technically.

Asha Ashish's Break Up In Naamkarann

This was one scene that purely qualified for the list just because of the performances of actorsBarkha Bisht Sengupta who plays Asha and Viraf Phiroz Patel who plays Ashish inNaamkarann. A simple scene where a girl's dreams of marrying the father of her daughter and the love of her life are shattered simply because of religion and the boy's mother's orthodox mentality, made us bawl our eyes out. And why wouldn't, considering the fact that this scene was shot under the guidance of none other than the maestro Mahesh Bhatt .
