Raman went out of the hotel leaving crying ishru behind.raman was just too sad leaving them like this but he don't have any other option as he believes that some mistakes don't deserve a second chance .he went to the near liquor shop and took four bottles of wine.
Raman-i have quit drinking four years ago after that incident but today I want it badly as today I have lost everything,sab kuch kho diya Maine.my wife,my babies,my family.today I lost everything.he was saying to himself and crying bitterly.he took the bottles and went to his car .he was driving and drinking ,crying along .when a man came in front of him.raman's car was about to hit him but he stopped the car in neck of time.
Raman- can't u see,just get off my way.he said in a tipsy voice but got shocked seeing appa in front of him.
Appa-raman tum yahan,iss halat mein.
Raman came out of the car seeing him and walked to him.he bend to touch his feet but was about to fall when appa hold him.
Appa-what r u doing in mid of the road that too fully drunk.if some cop will see u like this,he will arrest u.accident bhi ho sakta hai.
Raman-toh jeena kaun chahta hai,he was saying when he fainted in appa's arms.appa don't know what to do,he can't leave him on road like this.he make him sit in his car and took raman to his house .
After about an hour or two ,raman opened his eyes only to find him in an unknown place.he got up to see around when saw appa coming with a glass of lemon water.
Appa gave it to him and said- have it,u will feel better.
Raman took it and start sipping it.
Raman-(St)appa took me home,means ishita too knows about my condition.toh woh aayi kyun nahi mujhe dekhne.but why she come,i myself broke all relationship between us.ab kyun aayegi woh mere paas.but not even adi or ruhi came.did everyone start hating me for my behaviour.achcha hai I deserve this only .he was thinking when appa said- what u were doing there.dont u know drinking and driving is a punishable offence.
Raman who was looking at the door to get a glimpse of anyone ,got disappointed seeing noone coming and said- why u brought me here.i don't wanna see ishita's face.he said still looking at the door.
Appa-ishita don't live here.i live alone.
Raman looked at appa with confused eyes.
Appa continued-i abandoned her.i broke all the ties with her,just like u.
Raman was shocked beyond words hearing this.
Raman-but why,aisa kya kiya usne.
Appa-i don't know how to tell u,i am just ashamed of her.usne kuch aisa kar diya ki main kisi ko apna muh nahi dikha sakta.he said looking down.
Raman got curious hearing this.he came closer and said- tell me clearly,kya kiya ishita ne.
Appa-what has a son.
Raman-yes I know,adi.
Appa-no raman,she has another son after ur divorce with her.i don't know with whom she has relationship but she got pregnant and when we asked her about the father of the baby,she didn't tell us his name also.even when we told her to abort the baby,she didn't listened to us.u know when we told her to choose between us and the baby,she chooses the baby.and now she is living with adi and that son of her.i am sorry raman,my daughter cheated u.she had relationship since God knows how long.i think that's why u divorced her.maine bhi chod diya uska saath.he said with hatred filled eyes.
Raman was stunned to hear this and moreover was shocked to hear that ishita is all alone,even her parents left her.
Raman-i couldn't believe this.he said in utter shock.
Appa-jhatka lagaa naa,i too was shocked.ek najayaz bachche ke liye she left us.i never knew my daughter is characterless.
Raman-no ,not a word against her Mr iyer.not a word against my wife.
Now it was appa's turn to get shocked.
Appa-what u r saying raman.
Raman-i am saying what I should say.my wife can be careless but not characterless.meri biwi bewafa nahi hai.
Appa-u still believe this.he said making a dirty face.
Raman-i don't believe this Mr iyer,i know this.i know her very well.she can cheat herself but not me.i agree ,I divorced her in heat of moment.but that doesn't mean I don't love her or I don't trust her.i know her,i trust her.agar woh bachcha uska hai toh mera bhi hoga.i don't know how,but if she is mother of a baby then I know I am his father.ishita mere alawa kisi ki nahi ho sakti.i know my wife.he said making a confident face,confidence on her love for his.
Appa-what u r telling,u know to say that the baby is urs and u don't know about it.mazaak hai kya,aur agar aisa hota toh usne hume kyun nahi bataya,aur tumhe kyun nahi bataya.
Raman-i don't know,i don't have any answer to ur question but all I know that my wife ishita can never cheat me.
Appa-she wasn't ur wife.u have divorced her.
Raman-still I know her,uska pyaar itna kamzor nahi ki waqt se saath badal jaaye.i know she is loyal to me ,just I have to know when this happened,he was saying when something click his mind.
Raman-oh no,shit.he said to himself and then look at appa.
Raman-appa,can u please give me ur car keys,i have to go somewhere.
Appa-abhi but where,u r drunk.
Raman-no I am not.i am good,please give me ur car keys.i have to sort out something very serious.
Appa didn't understand anything but give his car keys to him.raman get off his house and start driving towards his hotel hoping to find ishita there only while he was thinking about the day which changed his life forever.
Flashback
Four years back,raman went to Adelaide for a contract.a city bring down many sweet memories of his life as it was the place they have became one.
Raman checked into his hotel and soon he was in meeting with his clients when one of the person got a call that his daughter met an accident .the person literally ran towards the hospital ,raman too went with him along with many to give him moral support.
All were waiting for the surgeon for his daughter to get operated but the surgeon was taking time.when they asked about the surgeon,the compounder said that he is with his family.will be coming soon.
Raman heard this and thought-all the doctors have time for their family but only ishita never had time for us.its three years but she never tried to contact me.uska pyaar bhi ussi ki tarah dikhawa nikla.all she want was success in her career but my love and our family.he was thinking when the surgeon came and went to the OT hurriedly.
All waited for the operation to get over.after two hours the surgeon came out ,all ran to him to ask about it.
Surgeon-nurse will tell u all.my son is waiting for me.i have to go.saying so he went to his cabin making raman believed that ishita never tried to take out time for them.if she had ever wanted to take out time then could have make it like this surgeon.he was thinking when the person whose daughter was admitted said- what a rude doctor he is,he could have told atleast.whats the hurry.
Nurse said hearing this -he is not rude but was really in hurry.he came leaving his son's funeral.his son's body is waiting for him.
All got stunned hearing this while raman couldn't hold himself and went to him to have a talk.the surgeon was about to go sitting in his car.raman stopped him.
S-sorry I getting late,u can know about the patient from nurse.
Raman-no no I don't wanna ask u that.i wanna ask u ,did u really left ur son's funeral.
S-what kind of rubbish question is this.
Raman-sorry don't get me wrong.but how can a father leave his son's funeral for a patient.i just not able to believe this.
S-actually u r right,no normal person can leave his family for an unknown person.but we r not normal,we r doctors and we choose this profession only to save people and for that sometimes we have to choose them above our own family.may be that's why we r called as god on earth.i hope u got it.i am getting late.saying so he went driving his car leaving a guilt ridden raman behind.he sat on the bench aside and start remembering that night when he shouted on ishita for not caring for ruhi and her tear stricken face saying,i couldn't leave the patient just like that.he could have died.woh mar jaata raman.
Raman was sitting and thinking how irrationally he behaved with ishita.broke their relationship for such a petty issue.
Raman-u did wrong with her,raman.she left her everything for u and u left her for such a small issue,which can be easily sorted.she did everything for u,completed ur family by giving u,ur two kids ,she tried her level best but still I was unsatisfied.i was all my fault only.he was thinking and feeling guilty.
After sitting their sometime,he went to his hotel's bar and start drinking thinking how badly he hurt her.when his eyes fell on the calendar and realised it's their wedding anniversary.suddenly he started feeling all alone without her and feeling his absence he start drinking .
He drank till the bar closed.finally he had to get out of the bar coz it was closing.raman was walking and falling here and there loosing balance.he was about to fall when a woman hold him.he tried to look at her and all he could see that she was a foreigner girl ,looking at him smiling.he tried to get away but before that he fainted .
Next morning ,he got up feeling heavy at his head.he was looking around trying to find out where he is and was stunned to see him all naked on his room's bed while his clothes were scattered on the floor .
Raman rubbed his eyes not believing what he did last night .he got up in a jiffy,wore his clothes and started searched for the lady but couldn't find anyone.he crushed on the floor and said- sorry ishita,i crossed my limit.i betrayed u,maine khud tum tak pahunchane ke saare raaste bandh kar diye.he said to himself and hide his face in between his legs.
Flashback end
Raman-i never got to know who was the lady,kahin woh ishita toh nahi thi.he thought to himself and get out of the car running inside the hotel .
