Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil's day to day earnings is getting closer to SRK's


After the release of Raees and Kaabil, it became pretty clear to trade which film has the capacity to have a long run and which one will put up big numbers from start to finish. Hrithik Roshans film got some really good reviews from critics and audience alike. Shah Rukh Khans film on the other hand was one that his fans were waiting for since the time it was announced. No wonder it took a bumper opening and lead. But trade had predicted long back that the gap between the two films will get narrower if we consider the day to day earnings and they were right. If you take into account the collections of the films in last few days, you will realise the gap between their day to day earnings have become less. Raees earned Rs. 6.25 crore on Thursday while Kaabil took in Rs. 5.25 crore.

When both the films released on January 25, the difference in collections was huge. Raees opened with Rs. 20.42 crore while Kaabil earned Rs. 10.43 crore. Next day SRK's gangster drama earned Rs. 26.30 crore while Kaabil made Rs. 18.67 crore. But from the third day itself, HR's film scaled up and was only a few crores away from Raees. Day 1 (Wed) - 20.42 Cr.
Day 2 (Thu) - 26.30 Cr.

Kaabil will only earn more as we told you yesterday how owing to its brilliant performance at the box office, exhibitors have decided to add 200 more screens to its existing number.

Nahi, it won't. Everyday collections might see some days coming above Raees, that is also might.

In collections of ourse not .. But Kaabil seems to be the superior film if the reactions and trend is considered. I'm so glad Hrithik did it, his performance was just mind blowing.

I still have hopes for a hoy verdict ..
I felt bad during MD but now I think I'm okay because the industry seems to have supported Kaabil and liked the film, he's not cornered the way he was during MD.

He has not announced any film yet, there are speculations that he's doing kabir khan next and Karan Malhotra next, he has denied about doing the dharma film. Nothing concrete yet.
