So buzz was that Priyanka would collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gustakhi based on Sahir Ludhianvi biopic. And this time the duo collaborate for a project that might just be one of the strongest roles portrayed by Priyanka on silver screen.
A source revealed that Priyanka has given a nod to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's project based on a book. It's a gritty tale of a prostitute and a hard hitting account of the life in brothel. Our source also informed us that Bhansali had originally approached Rani Mukerji for this role and the actress had even given her nod. However, people close to the actress advised her against taking up a role that she had already portrayed on screen before. The role has now landed on Priyanka's lap and she seems pretty happy with the part and working with SLB again added our source.
