I loved your story of the different reactions you get from your family on this. I don't have anyone other than this forum folk to watch 'with'. It actually makes these shows, and their ridiculousness, so much more fun.

What came through in what you wrote: I like how with Shivaay, it's all about what is spoken, rather than what it felt. I guess this is their way of separating the head and the heart? Shivaay appears to put so much on his word, what is spoken. Everything else for him is what he doesn't feel he is _accountable_ or _responsible_ for. I know, I know. That is a pretty shallow characterisation of this part of Shivaay. Clearly, he never stood up and declared to the world when he started assuming Anika is his responsibility. And yet, he has felt that for a very long time. But sometimes, it feels like that is what he wants -- to be held responsible for what he has said.

And so it's kinda cute, how the importance of the spoken / written word is also in how we are interpretting Shivaay, no? We are all searching for the right words to describe what he is all about. Including Anika! He seems to have the same effect on all girls. 😆 Now I wish I were a boy, like Om and Rudra, who probably know that he has all these complications but just shrug, accept him as he is, puzzles and all, and go on their way. Darnit! *Where IS that phone of mine when I need to throw it?!*
