Ileana D'Cruz admits being eve-teased and harassed in the past.

Actress Ileana D'Cruz admits to have been
eve-teased and harassed, and described the
experience as "traumatic". Sharing a link of
an article that reads "I'm Leaking My Ex's
Dirty Messages And Voice Notes Because
He's Left Me No Choice", she tweeted:
"Absolutely despicable piece of crap! So
proud of this girl who exposed this swine!
Whoever you are lady mad respect."
Ileana then used the micro-blogging site to
talk about her experience."I've been a victim
of eve-teasing and harassment and it's
traumatic. I'm lucky I have beautiful parents
who gave me strength when I needed it,"
she wrote. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had
also shared the same article which is about
an anonymous girl troubled by her former
boyfriend.
A few days back, Sonam Kapoor also came
out in the open to discuss the matter. "I
was going to watch a Raveena Tandon-
Akshay Kumar film to Gaeity theatre. I was
with my friends, we were just like 13-14
year olds and we were sitting in stalls. We all
walked in but we wanted to get samosas
and walked by forming like a human chain. I
was the last while coming back, coz
obviously I was the tallest, " she said.
She continued, "And a man came from
behind and held my breasts. I started
shaking and shivering, and I didn't know
what was going on. I started crying right
there but I didn't speak about it and I sat
and finished the film. Coz I felt I had done
something wrong. I didn't talk about it for a
good two years. But that's not something. I
know so many of my friends who've gone
through something like that over and over
again. So it's so important to films like
Kahaani where at least the issues come
forward and you can talk about it."

I have people who complain that we are too politically correct now days.. we are too sensitive.. to them my answer has always been that we may have learned how to respect each other and be conscious on certain issues which is a positive.. why blame being pc for that? If being pc brought this up on people.. then I am proud to be pc..These issues that we are talking about...yes it is maybe because we are more pc.. but they are very important.. before we were pc this went on.. girls got harassed in public places...rapes happened.. at least now we have a platform to talk about it and speak against it.


Btw sonams story sounds so fake.. god knows if it is true..
