Veteran Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, the producer of the recently released Kaabil', has said he is happy with the way both films are performing at the box office.

"Very good for us that both the films are doing well. Saara zamaana, cinema ka deewana'" said Roshan, speaking to the media during the Lokmat Style Awards on Tuesday night.

"It is big happiness for all of us because we made the film with a lot of hard work and passion. The audience has given lots of love to the film and this gives us more happiness and energy to come up with more good films in future."

"I feel the love we are receiving for Kaabil' is same as when I made Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hain'" he said.

Kaabil starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in the lead, has collected nearly 80 crore at the domestic box office in 7 days after its release, as per official sources.

History is repeating itself. When Kaho Na Pyar Hai released, he tried to create hype around Hrithik by paying media to show SRK in a bad light. He is doing the same thing now...in almost every interview he cries foul and blames SRK. He has directed SRK in three films and out of those only one film was a blockbuster... the other two were flops...but he is behaving as if he is Yash Chopra and SRK owns his career to him.

what do u mean ? KNPH itself was the biggest blockbuster of that season, Rakesh Roshan is no fool to compare his debutante son with SRK unless his son himself was delivering something big at the BO. Its media who compared HR to SRK, i guess you understand the difference. And what he is doing the same thing now ? he is talking about Kaabil and talking about his own film puts mighty SRK in bad light ? And you know na that he does not give a damn to SRK, infact nobody gives a damn to SRK now and is ready to clash with him.

People have better things to do other than trying to put the saint and sadhu baba SRK in bad light, you make it sound like SRK is 2 year old doodh peeta huya baby, for gods sake he is 52 year old, and you should blame his ego and his greed for the situation and back lash he is facing now. Flops aside, people are openly calling him a loser.

^^Really? Who is calling him a loser? Hrithik fans? It is Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan who are acting like losers by crying about getting less screens. When SRK got less screens during Dilwale vs Bajirao, he never cried like Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan. Even Shahid Kapoor didn't cry when Haider got just 1200 screens.

changing the topic of argument 😆

No not only HR fans, open your eyes, and see how people are mocking him in social media for his desperation. LMAO, asking every cat and dog to watch Raees and tolerate his stammering, such precious time he has to spend. And it was a blessing that SRK did not cry for screens during dilwale and bajirao, the shame for him would be greater than it is now, at least he learnt a lesson and did not clash with sultan.

Hrithik never cried for such stuffs, go figure, and everybody knows the dirty side of SRK, so stop burging in every thread just to make SRK look like a victim of Rakesh Roshan, which sounds as silly and lame as SRK's stupid films.

Haider was a small film, NICHE film and deserved less screens.

Aamir,SRK and Anil's films flopped which were released along the same month as KHNPH...Hrithik was an overnight star,it's the public who made him...

SRK himself would be embarrassed if he would ever read his fans' essays 🤢 ..

Well Roshan papa went wrong here, Kaho na was a phenomenal hit and was a happy movie whereas Kaabil is a tragic revenge drama where the rape thing is putting people off. Hence his comparison is wrong. Why is he ruining Hrithik biggest hit?
