So, after today's episode this is my take on what is going to happen:

Ashwin calls the press, and he ruins Maya's haldi, on the other hand Arjun is watching all of this happen on the TV. He could probably sense that Maya is upset and goes to meet her and console her. In the meanwhile, out of frustration, Maya breaks the mirror. That's when Arjun comes and since the haldi ritual didn't really happen for Maya he decides to put the haldi on her himself. That's when we get to see the sizzling haldi romance.

This is a point to be noted, it could be amongst the biggest reasons this may be a dream, but then, Arjun could've definitely washed his face before leaving the house. I presume we have to watch to find out.
