Rani Mukerji had taken a break from movies after she welcomed a baby girl with husband Aditya Chopra. She was last seen in the critically acclaimed movie Mardaani.

Reports suggested that Rani had recently turned down a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film. The actor has worked with the filmmaker in movies like Saawariya and Black for which she clinched all the Best Actress awards.

A source had said to a leading daily, "SLB was very keen on having Rani on board. But since she didn't want to play a similar character on the big screen again, he has now approached another actress."

However, a spokesperson of Rani's has denied the news and said, "There is no truth to this at all. Rani Mukerji would never refuse a film from Bhansali. She is waiting for him to offer her something and she would do it in a flash. She is looking forward to working with him soon."

Meanwhile, rumour has it that she is getting ready for a comeback in Pradeep Sarkar's next.
