Over the centuries humans have found innovative methods of expressing affection and displaying it in some form or another, to convey that special meaning to someone in their life. These expressions have been portrayed in varied art forms and mediums, music ,poetry or song. Antiquity shows that gifts of nature were often sought by our forefathers to express their dedication to those they held in high esteem and love. In-scripted gifts, using flowers, stones, dried grain and foliage became a medium for "writing" , to convey messages of commitment, ardor or allegiance. In this episode, the rice grains, used by the CV's symbolize the inherent human quest for learning and acquiring knowledge too. In the past, humans, used rice grains, sand, clay, mud as a base to form marks, squiggles ,shapes, thus laying the basis of rudimentary forms of human need to convey meaning through word! Goes without saying that early expressions of writing and reading also took place upon natural resources through carving and inscriptions by using a small rock on variable surfaces some smooth, some coarse depending on the rocks. However making tracings and patterns with the help of fingers or toes on dry grains like lentils, rice , wheat were easier and I suspect an ancient means of conveying meaning in another form other than the spoken word. In the episode, the CVs present us with the still used popular method used by lovers to celebrate their beloved .That of inscribing their name ,on commonly, contemporary used trinkets like rings, bracelets or other charms that tickles both the giver and the receivers fancies.. the identity inscription of one's name sums up one's complete existence.. ultimate offering of one's self in the gift of love!
Vividha gets ready for the auspicious occasion , preens for the sake of love. The scene contrasts with that when she gets ready for the 2nd time to annul her marriage with Ravish. At present, she dresses up to seal her bond with Atharva. Yet , where in the previous scenario, she was apprehensive, now this bond is lined with the possible fear of Atahrva being attacked again by the unknown assailant. As if the anxiety of her heart reaches her beloved... flying he comes to her rescue to give a penny for her thoughts? The groom knows her too well.. she may contradict herself in thought and manner, but it hardly passes by Atharva !hence gallantly with smooth flair he displays his literacy skills by reciting a classical verse! to prompt her to know the reason for her pensive mood..? takes it upon himself and attempts to smooth her ruffled feathers! Tenderly Atharva, brushes aside her fears that nothing can separate him from her! the beauty , lies in their relationship of covering each other's back.. For it's her who covers his back, thus neither he nor she should be fearful.. it's their love that provides the armor for each's existence. His demand one kiss to seal their forth-coming , ongoing commitment.. instead he gets a push! and a shove! spelling not now! later.. when the time is right! His beloved who carries with herself the invincible might of Durga, also is clothed in the virtues of chastity .. perfect balanced woman! adapts to the need of the hour! Thus Atharva much to his dismay has to bridle his passion..
Atharva's, rustic , raw , burly charm.. is enough to impress the opposite gender of mixed age ranges.. then glides down the stairs, the woman.. he knew was meant for him the minute he set eyes upon her! even the wheels of time could not stop their souls from uniting .. now only prayers for eternal love.. beats in their hearts... and this moment now is a step to realizing their love till eternity...their eyes sing from the same song sheet... depart not from my heart.. and with this ring I stand spoken for you..but!!

Reading between the lines.. under the garb of lighthearted custom and practice Time to check vividha's literacy skills. In this case the light goes out and Atharva's desire to enlighten himself with the knowledge that it's his name scripted on her heart... suffers a slight black out ,but then all is clear as a lit bulb ,instead of his name its Ravish name on the platter... no guessing who is behind this?
A demented father, yet again tries to meddle around with what the gods decree ..atharva as Vividha's soul mate... KK virtually attempts to rewrite his daughters fate by wiping out Atharva's name by brushing off it and scripting the word Ravish in its place ...it's what he the father enforced before upon his daughter and does so again to go against the tide of destiny!
But the engagement goes ahead... no misunderstanding! no evidence! heresy! gossip! tattle! will suffice and survive! as the inscription on the heart is what matters! her heart boasts of his name and he can read it clearly ... thus Atharva shuts up societal wagging tongues of raking Vividha's past!which was bound to come up sooner or later. He also unwittingly, thwarts KK's further attempt at distancing them ..and thus the rings on each's finger symbolizes their love...
Heart to heart ..one to one... true-say, the situation is yet again retrieved by Atharva , Vividha is bailed out of a sticky situation..yet his obduracy is to further his bond with her..and solemnize the engagement. He knows it's not the end of the matter with Vividha. She will clarify her position... and such irony she speaks the truth, but under currant of the waves are expected for both of them to fathom both the helm and rudder of their ship of destiny. Their calling and commitment,to themselves.However his calm unnerves her and she insists on being understood!! she insists on raising his awareness there is something fishy going on.. but Atharva as always assures her that it's her word yes to marrying him without being led into it. Her willingness is what matters to him , not shady events.. Hence he'd rather she use herself constructively like suggest designs for the renovation of the old factory... future developments rather than the grim sordid past.. his plea is for renovating their bond!
The lurking figure of her father looks on from the shadows..eyes bulging with cruel smothering authority. The engagement has gone ahead , but he has achieved his target..by using the name Ravish to plant fear in his daughters heart..for it's by the power of their fear KK ruled over and bridled the females of his household.. hamlet53 30.1.17
