I guess almost everyone has watched today's drama and the insults galore and how everything reached toward the climax! 😆 And it all happened exactly as Dadu had feared: NK's anger and ego ruined their happiness. But I don't want to analyze the whole episode, just highlight a few things:

The stark contrast between the families was nicely brought out, today. On the one hand, we have NK for whom his name is everything. He is rich and successful, a Chauhan, and that's their pehchaan. On the other hand, we have Sharda's family who lived her Swabhiman, actually, by not silently taking all the crap NK threw at them. Yes, the situation was only worsened. Yes, I think both sides said things they shouldn't have said. But I won't deny that it wasn't fun seeing NK insulted 😛

The marriage condition: The build up was well done 👏 Vishnu said that after today, no one would give their daughter into the Chauhan family. Fine, if that is so - we will take both your daughters. Was he bluffing? Was he thinking Sharda would back off? Was he sure Sharda would agree? I think both are true and in both cases, NK would have won. As much as you hate the man, you have to admit, brilliantly done 😆

And damn, anyone noticed poor Karan in the background, totally shocked as if someone had just pulled out the earth from beneath his feet? When NK said he'd take two daughters with him, Karan was already starting to panic, "Ye Dad kya kar rahe hain?" 😆 He tried to speak but was unable to. Reason bohut ho sakte hain: Introverts, generally, have problems speaking up when they are surrounded by masses of people. Another reason; depends. I have always said that despite what we have seen of the NK-Karan relationship, we have hardly seen anything. Yes, Karan dislikes his father and does not support him - but Karan does not confront NK, at all. He does not speak to NK. He does not enter a room if NK is there. Children whose fathers have been harsh toward them throughout their childhood, sometimes develope such behaviour- they are generally tongue-tied in front of their fathers even if they would love nothing more than to speak up. Maybe this is such a case, who knows?

I loved how Karan looked away when Sharda fell on her knees in front of NK. He was outright disgusted by his father's antics and felt beyond bad for Sharda. Even later, when he was trying to process what was happening through his shock, he was saying that NK didn't do right with Sharda (and Khayti told him to think about his own life, lol).

Coming to Naina: The moment she saw her mom begging in front of NK, she ran toward her. She didn't waste any time, reached and immediately took her mom out of this humiliating position. And the way Sharda addressed Cheeku and told her about everything, said a lot: how Sharda trusts Naina a lot.

The marriage condition shocked Naina, obviously. But even then, Naina was more focused on her mother's tears; and in the back of her mind, the worry for her Di was burning. Am pretty sure that it's not just the fact that MeghNal are already married but also that Naina knows that her sister sincerely and completely loves Kunal. Between Meghna and Sharda, Naina has no room to think about herself - or anyone else, e.g. Karan, in that moment. She will be selfish for their sake, very human reaction.

Now, comparing both familial situations - the ladki wale will agree because Naina will consent. Yes, Naina won't do it because she wants it for herself, but she will want it for her mother and sister. Had Naina said No, no one would have gone ahead with this marriage. They were already against it. Karan, on the other hand - apart from Khayti who is thinking about him? And even in Khayti's case, she is more concerned that it is Naina whom he has to marry, whereas I believe Karan's actual problem lies with the marriage, itself, and the way this is happening. And he will make his displeasure known - but his decision will not be considered, at all. NK doesn't think beyond his ego, even if that means throwing his own son under the bus.

On the one hand, we have Sharda's family who doesn't give a hoot about NK's threat and his family name and anything; they will oppose him if they have to, and will not compromise their girls' lives. On the other hand, we have NK for whom only his izzat matters, his ego matter. He doesn't care that Kunal is already married. He doesn't care for what Karan wants - as long as his ego is satisfied, he will sacrifice them for it.

Well, well, well 😆 Meghna will confront her mom and sister tomorrow. I wonder if Kunal will do the same before NK and Sandhya tell him about how they were insulted. I'd love a scene of his with Karan but don't think we will get one, now. And Dadu will be late, obviously 🤣

Sorry, it got long - I just had to put my thoughts out here 😆 Also, hats off to the actors! Especially loved NK's acting, today! 👏 Vishal and Sharda were great, as well! 😉

Wonderful post Ami. So well pointed out that NK doesn't really care about anyone beyond his ego.
He threw his own son under the bus. The authority with which he said to Sandhya to pull Kunal from the mandap, gives me the feels that Kunal would have gotten up. This equation will be put to test after the wedding drama of course.

It was amazing seeing Karan react before NK even finished his shart. The boy knows his Dad. I feel so bad for Karan. No one is standing up for him. No one is concerned for him. His agitation was clearly evident. He has issues and his family is pretty much useless in their support for him.

Mom, doesn't speak up. Khyati does, but she is too young and no one takes her seriously.

I sincerely hope to see Naina in his corner providing the much needed support. He needs someone who will be taken seriously when they speak up.

Naina is a lucky girl that she has the kind of family support she does. She doesn't hesitate in stepping forward and doing what is right. She didn't think of anything just the fact, her mom was kneeling in front of NK.

Kudos to Vinay Jain, NK was awesome and ruled the episode.

Great post
Boy today was drama to the core lol Nk is just crazy ego filled dude who needs to be brought a peg or two down, i get it he has his own daddy issues but to act like a petulant child lol n sandy does not help at all.

Naina n karan r the sacrificial lambs for their siblings happiness n shardas desperation and nks crazy ego. I lkke sharda but she gets too preachy at times n today everything went out the window, im sorry this whole thing left a bad taste like how desperate ppl can get over a girls wedding its just a bad msg to give and shows love using this formula to insult the girls side ugh.

Im rooting for meghna to bring nk to his knees he deserves it and for kunal to learn to think for himself in the future coz rigth now he still will side with his family. I dont want naina to become a foil to meghnas ploys, let her deal with her marriage and karan coz they have a long n difficult journey ahead and i rather see them getting to know each other. I still want them to call out their parents for forcing them esp karan and naina too esp the chauhans.
Im gonna enjoy if they show meghna winning against the injustice done to sharda this should never have happened and then later naina can help fix it but i want nk n sandy to get theirs n khyati to get a smack down as well she caused a lot of issues resulting in meghna n naina getting in trouble.

Namita Di - It acutally even looked like Karan was looking around, e.g. his gaze was wandering as if he wanted someone to speak up for him, and desperately so. It's actually a nice change from all the impulsive MLs we get on-screen, the confident and self-assured ones. Here is someone who has clear issues expressing himself and speaking up for himself when in a crowd or even in front of his own father - it's real, because such people exist numerously in this world. Sometimes, I have the feeling that many people think, This is a guy and he should be able to take his stand, no one can force guys. Which is nonsense because self-esteem issues, being an introvert and what not are not gender-based. So, hats off here - for making Karan a dimensional character whose growth we will enjoy watching 👏

As for his family, I get the feeling that they rather use his weaknesses 🤣 Like we saw NK do, today. Just take authority and announce such a huge decision, he knew that Karan would not object publicly. And Sandhya... will make it worse. I know that Nirmala doesn't speak up, either, but she wouldn't have encouraged this injustice, at lest - the difference of being the mother and the Maasi maa.

Hope to get a Karan-Nirmala scene once they are back home 😔

Manny - The irnoy here is that Sharda's family actually did what she always preached 😆 But I think it wasn't just her desperation due to the fact that her daughter was already married. Later on, she explained that she felt horrible because Meghna hadn't wanted to marry but only agreed for Sharda and here, Sharda was, having done a mistake with choosing the family. I guess it was also her fear of disappointing Meghna if the Chauhans left like that - but she should have considered how Meghna is- Meghna can take anything but not her mother bowing down in front of anyone. So, yes, disappointed 🥱

Even I am waiting to see how Meghna will fight against NK and Sandhya. That battle will be worth the watch, especially NK going down on his knees in front of Sharda 😉 But it needs to be balanced. Right now, Meghna will misunderstand all of the Chauhans, she will have a grudge against Kunal and will probably be bitter toward Karan, too, for having agreed for the marriage. In this respect, I believe the sisters will balance each other out: Meghna will show Naina not to always budge and give in, that sometimes it might be better to be quiet but other times, you have to speak up and take your stand. Naina, on the other hand, will keep Meghna grounded - wanting revenge can be fatal, and it is easy to lose your focus, to overdo it, it is easy for lines to blurr. In this regard, it is important that Meghna realizes who the acutal foe is and who isn't, and what the battle comes down to.

And if they are to clash, it will be a clash of ideals, not about being good or bad. And it will help both of them to grow as human beings.

Though, yes, before all of this, NaiRan will have to take reins of their new life 😆 They have one bumpy road in front of them!

I'm half asleep so this might be muddled up 😆

I thought the drama build up was well done. There was this detailing which added to the episode like nk being drunk his insult by other people which led to him losing it. The shart was a masterstroke. It created a win-win situation for him.

Karan and Naina's expressions were so on point in the entire sequence! I agree with all the things you mentioned. Karan was so confused and dazed! Almost as if walking around and saying its wrong will make the problem go away. He hates confrontations but still went up to nk. Let's see if he says something.

I really felt for Naina. Right from the time sharda went all I don't understand what to do till the end, the situation was too much for her. You can almost imagine the kind of pressure she is in despite the family support. I mean she has 15 min, her mother is blaming herself, her sister's baraat wants to leave - anybody's mind would stop working. I also feel that Sharda's actions kind of sealed the deal. Had she not gone down on her knees, the solankis could have still held their heas high even if the baraat had left. But since she did, it wouldn't be the same. I am not blaming her for doing it, it's completely understandable. This all creates a situation for Naina to agree I guess.

@Bold - couldn't have said it better myself Ami. So, finally Karan is getting someone who will speak up on his behalf. Who will be there when he needs someone to rely on.

NK in his egotistical moment, has blessed Karan. Of course, it's going to take a while for Karan to understand that.

I will read it all in a bit - but you know what surprised me that the 'big' people - The Chauhans they were going to get their son married and walk off with no dil- flying their ego's in the air - but the 'little' people showed more manners, education and intelligence in the form of displaying common sense that not only was their daughter married - but the egoistic chauhans son too is married here, even if they were not going to pursue im glad the talk about the court rose aswell etc. First time I'm encountering drama and common sense😆
I think more than for Meghna, having seen her mum in that kneeled position will be the catalyst for Naina agreeing.

You know girls, I personally would do anything if I saw my mom kneeling and begging. An then proceed to rip the person responsible to bits...😆 But that's me and this is a show.
As a daughter, that's what Naina is going to do. What to do to take the tears and the worry away from her mom., that's what's going through her mind.

Sona! 🤗

Yes, the drama build up and the details were brilliantly done! 😆 And you didn't feel like, What the hell is going on? You could literally feel the tension building up, the danger starting to crowl out and bam, it hits us all. And despite us expecting it - our hearts still went out, especially to Karan and Naina

Karan running up and down and mumbling to himself, barely registering Khayti, really got to me. He was so much like a kid there, and as you said behaved as if saying all this was wrong would make it go away 😆

And yes, I agree, Naina was put into immense pressure! As I mentioned, she was caught between mom and Di, she had no room to consider herself, at all. And definitely agree: the key point here was Sharda going down on her knees. For Meghna, this was the straw to set a sign and lash out (eventually). For Naina, it was another kind of sign: her mom's self-respect on the stakes. If they backed out now, it would be worse thand had they done before Sharda went down 😕

Can't wait for tomorrow! 😆
