It's another one of those stories where SRK is Amrish Puri's bonded ghulam, and Madhuri is duped into marrying the evil old man when she's shown SRK's picture instead. Now since its the 90's they don't have Madhuri marrying Shahrukh first. However, SRK ultimately "breaks bonds" with his master and saves the damsel in distress because he falls in love with her.

Exactly! Both these shows look inspired, but rather cleverly. They have just borrowed from the basic premise, and will now create their own khichdi 😆

However honestly, as long as the khichdi is entertaining, and good wins over evil ultimately, I am all for it 😆
