So its really early for my standards that this is the second OS I'm posting in the span of a week. But boredom makes you do unexpected stuff. I'm not really confident if I stand up to you.r expectations but this is what I've penned down. this is an expectation of what would have happened if the CV's hadn't messed with Shravan's past. episode 53-55.
and ya this one is dedicated to deetya123 who had specially pmed me to post something.
Dreams and Nightmares- Shraman OS
"Bhaiyaa sahi se betho!!" An exasperated and highly annoyed Pushkar directed his oh so inexperienced brother who was sitting on his knees. "Ek to aap itne lambe ho bethkar bhi Sumo se lambe lagoge." He chuckled at his own words to which Shravan gave him a death glare.
"Pushkar dekh pehele to tu bol do bol do bol raha tha ab finally confess kar raha Hu to tu help bhi nahi kar raha." Shravan glared at him with a pout.
Pushkar laughed at the situation. A week earlier he had been promptly denying his feelings and right now he was taking 'how to propose a girl' tuitions from him.
"Ab khi khi karta raheha ya batega bhi aage kya karna hai ?" Shravan prompted him.
"Of course. Jisko at least Ek month main dus ladhkiyaan propose kar de usse nahin pata ki ladhki kaise patate hain ? Isse mahan baat to kuch Ho hi nhi sakta." Pushkar shook his head and kept his right palm over his cheek.
"Pushkar Sach bata Sumo ne tujhe mujhe irritate karne ke tareeke bataye hain."Shravan said while standing from his previous position. He had been kneeling in the middle of his room since thirty minutes. 'Yeh ladki mujhse kya-kya karvaegi.' He thought and a soft smile overtook his features.
"Haye! Kya smile hai! Sumo kahi mere bhai ki hotness se melt na ho jaeye. Waise sach batao Sumo ke baare main hi soch rahe the na?" Pushkar said with a knowing look as he crossed his hands on his chest.
Shravan payed a quick nod to his enquiry and moved into the closet, blush evident on his cheeks.
He went in his closet and stood in front of the mirror while his mind was a running a mile per minute. 'Itni to tum films dekhti ho, koi cliche dialogue mara toh ek second main pakadh logi. Tum bhi na, dealing with you has never been simple.'
Pushkar chuckled at the change of his expressions. 'Pehle smile fir frown, Sumo tune mere acche khaase bhai ko pagal kar diya. Bechaare Bhaiyaa pyaar aapne 12 saal kiya aur yahan Sumo apna he proposal plan karke bethi hai. Aur karo gundi se tutkar pyaar, mere bechaare extremist bhole bhai.' Pushkar smiled finally the two strong headed, extremely stubborn, and insanely mad in love being were ready to confess their love to each other.
He quickly sneaked outside Shravan's room leaving behind a nervous wreck practicing 5 lines for so long and this came form person had topped in even the longest of theoretical exams.
He descended the stairs only to find Sumo serving Lalaji her AUTHENTIC SUMO KARELA as she called it.
He quickly paced towards her and held her by her shoulder and brought her aside.
"Kya kar raha hai? Shravan ne dekh a to tujhe kaccha chaba jaega." Sumo said confidently putting her bangs behind her ear.
"Haan, Haan pata hai mujhe kal ki party main bohut acche se pata chal gaya tha jab bechaare kashap ne tera haath pakdha tha aur Bhaiyaa ka ulte haath ka thappadh khaaya tha, bhai kya scene tha voh 'ladhki ne mana kar diya na, chunne ki koshish bhi kaise ki tunne meri Sumo ko.' Matlab sab seeti maar rahe the." Pushkar imitated Shravan.
"Tu na apne bhai ki aur mere Shravan ki beizzati na kar, na tu uske jaisa dikhta hai, na Teri awaaz uske jaise hai, so do not try to imitate your brother. " Sumo questioned his poor mimicry.
"Haan bhai Paanch minute main Bhaiya tujhe propose kar denge phir Sumo ka Shravan, Shravan ki Sumo. Phir iss Pushkar ki kya zarurat. Haina? " Pushkar intentionally spilled the beans. Actually beans were cooked and perfected by Sumo in the first place, she had planned all this to make her Malhotra confess his feelings. And she had succeeded; she was always right when matters concerned Shravan.
"Sach bol. Matlab Shravan actually mujhe propose..." Sumo stopped short as the feeling of overwhelming took control over her.
Pushkar nodded affirmative to the question. The next time he opened his eyes after a blink and Sumo had already paced up half the stairs. She could challenge bolt in the next Olympics if she practiced.
She opened the room panting due to the lightning speed she had picked up. The first thought that crossed her mind was that she had been pranked by Pushkar, Shravan was nowhere to be seen but the noises from the closed caught her attention and she moved towards the source of sound. And she warmed up to her entire being at what she heard 'Sumo you mean a world to me and I love you.'
She sighed I relief. "Finally Mr. Malhotra samajh hi gaye." She mumbled under her breath as she kept her palm over her heart. 'Dhak, Dhak, dhak'. 'Haye Sumo despo na dekhiyo, control.' But her heart had made it clear that it won't be listening to her any longer.
She walked to the closet as slow as possible listening to every word he uttered. "Sumo you mean a world to me, can you please do the honor of being my better half and make me the happiest human on the phase of earth." Her eyes involuntarily began brimming with happy tears. She finally came face to face with him as he looked at her through the mirror. He looked flabbergasted as well as awestruck at the same time. Name the emotions, happiness, nervousness, shock they were all evident in his soulful eyes.
Sumo had streams running down her cheeks but with a stupid smile plastered on her lips when she started clapping.
"Woah! Shravan kya proposal hai." She said as she took small steps towards him. There was a bouquet of tulips, the white ones she love and a small velvet box kept together in one of racks of his closet. "Tulips bhi hain aur shaayad ring bhi. Haina?" Shravan nodded reluctantly. Sumo was just a feet away now and she stopped walking and locked her hands behind her back. "Koi bhi ladki maan jaegi." She smiled her sparkling smile.
Shravan inched towards her and brushed her tears through the pad of his thumb. "Mujhe koi bhi nahi ek specific ladhki ko manvana hai jo bohot choosy hai." She chuckled at his response. "Sumo tum to meri bestie ho na?" Sumo hummed in response. "Aur ladki bhi? Pakka na?"Sumo narrowed her eyes at him and whacked his arm. The both chuckled. "Toh tum batao main usse kaise propose karu?" He took a step forward towards her and grabbed the ring from the almira behind her. He had his lips almost touching hers when he bent forward not leaving her gaze.
"Jaise bhi karo usne toh haan hi bolna hai apne childhood sweetheart ko." Sumo inhaled a sharp breath as she looked at him as he kneeled in front of her.
"Toh main free fund main itni practice kar raha tha?"
"You know Malhotra what is the best part of being in love with your best friend...you do not need to impress each other, they've seen you through thick and thins, you can be stupid, and you can definitely be who you are because that's whom they have fallen in love with, the real you." Suman flashed her breathtaking smile, kneeling down herself too and holding his hands.
"They what you want even before you voicing it aloud, they just know how to get you to be comfortable, they know what's going inside that junkyard inside your scull."Shravan said .They both chuckled through the tears that had escaped their filled with contentment eyes.
"They can be your best dreams and worst nightmare too." He continued.
"So Ms. Suman Tiwari are you ready to live a life better than the most beautiful dream and worse than the worst nightmare with the with your best friend whose hopelessly, insanely, and wonderfully in love with you since broad 11 years?" he finally proposed and none of his practices had worked but what he had been chanting could never be worth of even an ounce of his words. No pretense, no trick, no hack, no make-believe words just undecorated and plain love and longing.
"By all means." Suman responded as Shravan pulled out a solitaire ring from the case with an emerald stone in the middle and small diamonds all around it.
"Pakka na?" he said making Sumo chuckle.
"Shravan mere knees main bohot dard ho raha hai, jaldi karo jo karna hai nahi to main bhaag jaungi." She laughed.
Shravan shook his head at her and said. "Tumse zyada time se main betha hua hu."
"Are to theek hai na competition thodhi na chal raha hai." She grinned as he slid the ring on her slender ring finger.
"Finally." She pecked his cheek without a second thought.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
And finally Shravan ki Sumo and Sumo ka Shravan, the ideal friends have switched the train from unrealized to finally realized love. Let's wish them luck!!
