yesterday in the episode sonu nigam has given justification on why farah is suitable for judgement specially and also anu malik. that means it is clear that whoever write on sonyliv it is read.

that god some where the message is clear and loud.

here comes the main doubt.

for singing why a person needs action.

playback singers like lataji who sang more songs both on stage and off stage too even did any action or movement that does not mean she is not fit for singing.

what farah has explained while putting rohit less is the same.

do you agree or not.

farah is there for entertainment in the singing show. All but they want is a entertaining stage singer.

Looks like they are looking for performers rather than just singers. Since most singers these days do shows all around the world, having good 'andaz' helps keep audiences interested. Personally, I'd rather see someone who sings with perfect sur and taal sing, but in these reality shows, being a good performer seems to be a major requriment.

I don't know SonuN is reading our comments or not, but in a recent interview, Sonu was asked by the reporter about Farah being a judge. He gave the same answer as yesterday. Perhaps it's all over in the news buzz and he wants to clarify those who have doubts over Farah's ability to be a judge. Farah is not perfect, still better than Sonakshi in the last Junior season- that was a disaster.

Not all professional singers are performers. Popular singers like Chitra, SPB of South and Lataji never perform on stage. Eliminating a contestant based on the stage performance and not on the singing in the name of Andaaz is a total crap. If that happens today, I would say Indian Idol is a bankrupted program with failed judges.

I agree that today's singers need andaaz (stage shows, and more importantly Indian idol is about trp), but to have a judge just judge andaaz makes no sense.

Can't Sonu Nigam and Anu Malik judge andaaz along with aawaaz and Riyaaz? Surely it's not that difficult.
