Should Anika respect Pinky's wishes?

Today the scene between Anika and Pinky was poignant

When Anika begged to see Shivaay and brought him to life literally, Pinky's expressions were a sight to behold.

Not only did she see Anika's love for Shivaay but also Shivaay's for Anika. Taking the bullet for Anika might have not convinced her, but fighting death and coming back on her request convinced her. And the depth of his love for Anika has scared her.

And so she has been reduced to begging, pleading.

Because, after all the misconceptions she has about Anika courtesy Daksh and Tia,I think she is convinced that whatever it may be Anika loves Shivaay and she is scared that this love might ruin her sons life

Because she is now considering Tia and the little unborn someone she thinks is her grand child. A grand child who is an extension of Shivaay and as important as Shivaay himself

Today there wasn't hatred for Anika in her eyes in the final scene, there was amazement/awe and fear. Pinky was devastated with the depth of Shivika devotion.

There was something about Anika as well

When Pinky begged her to leave Shivaay, Anika agreed. She even told her that she didn't need to beg or something like that so I'm wondering what made her come back to see Shivaay in sbs? Or is she meeting him for the last time.

For Anika family matters and she doesnt look like someone who will disrespect Pinky's wishes even for her own feelings (bcz Shivaay hasnt confessed yet)

I'm hoping Anika has come one last time to meet Shivaay and go away...will let him sort out his mother and bring her home with respect.

Yes, I don't think Anika should come back to the house on her own accord. After recovery,. Shivaay needs to have it out with his mother once and for all, and then bring Anika back with respect and honour that she deserves.

Pinky is a mother and naturally she's upset and freaked out upon seeing her son in such a state. But her hatred for Anika is beyond justification IMO. It simply stems from her prejudice.

Pinky don't deserve any respect 4m Anika. I get it she loves her son a lot but dat does not means she can abuse any woman especially his wife. If Anika keeps on respecting dat oldie then she will keep on taking her for granted. 2mrw, wen Anika n Shivaay have kids then she will force her outdated parenting skills on their children n try to spoil them beyond limit which will harm them. Trust me,these things do happen in many families. Wat wud have Pinky done if it was Anika who got shot?

I think Anika is like shivaay only in this matter. She will listen to pinky but i'm not sure she will follow her words. What shivaay wants only matters to anika. Once shivaay recovers completely anika might decide to go away but shivaay will not let her go. How will he do this? Shivaay will sort out with pinky and bring her home OR just bring anika home and make his usual declaration that anika yahi rahegii and pinky goes quiet.😆 I think usual declaration only.

Anika will definitely respect Pinky's wish and not come back. But Shivaay wont let her go. He will definitely bring her back. Pinky has to bow down to Shivaay. I hope there is a scene where Shivaay says that if Pinky wont let her live in the house then he will go and live with her and then Pinky will be forced to allow Anika back in the house.
Aaakhir Pinky herself said that Shivaay ki zid ke saamne kissi ki nahi chalti.. 😆

Anika never disrespect her elders...she was never rude to pinky despite knowing how pinky treats her...Anika has been yarning to have to complete family from childhood...family's happiness matter to her a lot...maybe that's why she agreed with pinky and decided to leave for shivaay's happiness.

After shivaay get recover he should brings her back with respect...it's high time shivaay should let pinky know what anika means to him.

Awesome post!

Pinky was shocked at how Shivaay and Annika were so close. She had no idea they were so attached to each other. Annika was fighting to get to him, and as soon as she got there he improved! Medically impossible but, you know like they were Soulmates...

Pinky has to think about Tia and the baby she thinks is Shivaay's. That's why she was pleading to Annika.

Why did Annika say yes to leaving so quickly?

Because she was thinking about it already. In her head, they are divorced, and she had made the mistake of falling in love with him. She thought he cared too, but his flip flop behavior has convinced her he doesn't love her.

I too think that smuggling into the ward scene is her last time meeting him. He will be trying to conceal feelings in front of OmRu, and she will be saying goodbye. Her expression when her held her hand from above the bed was sad.

I've been wrong before. Feels like something sad is coming, because Shivaay and Annika doing a Romeo & Juliet style forbidden romance just doesn't fit.

Pinky is that typical mother who as Mallika said 'thinks her son is too good and no girl can match that level of goodness'. But we cant deny d fact that Pinky has been good to Anika at one point. Her hatred stems from Tia/Daksh's lies. Her hatred is beyond justification bt lately the way things unfold infront of her and the way Anika is painted black by Tia, she cannot be blamed

But somewhere Pinky is a positive character despite f her bitchy attitude. Shez much like Manorama from IPK.

I wont be surprised if when Tia is exposed, she takes a stand for Anika as much as she does for Shivaay. But for now I want Anika to leave and let Shivaay fight for her wid his mom

I will agree with this if Pinky abuses Anika after she comes to know the truth. Pinky might be biased and might want d best for her son like every mother but that doesnt make her unworthy of respect.

Practically speaking parents want their children to be married to someone of their own standard/class unless the kids fall madly in love- that hasnt been the case uptil now

Dont forget Pinky is made to believe that Anika slept with Daksh, that she tried to kill Tia and her son. She wouldnt want someone like that for her son. With that logic why would Pinky give a damn if Anika is shot?
