Raman cupped her face and dropped a feathery kiss on her forehead ,she closed her eyes to feel his loving touch . He then hugged her and spoke
"smile always like this ,you look more beautiful with beautiful smile ". She cooed herself more in him and closed her eyes as she was getting peace in his embrace ,he too was liking her too close to him as these days they don't get much time to spend together ,both had their work and after that ruhi has also shifted to their room .They were lost in their moment when toshiji called Ishita " ishita puttar see some one has come to meet you ".
Ishra made a dirty face and part .
R( getting irritated )- is ghar mein koi shanti se nahi rahne deta kuch derr ,jaaiye aapki saasu ma bula rahi hai .
Ishita smiled and got up to go ,she opened the door and was going out of the room but stopped at her place and sneaked from the door ,Raman saw this and asked" hey ishita why aren't you going out ."
She turned and he can see line of worry on her face ,she spoke meekly " Raman subbu's amma has come ,she is talking to mummyji ".
R- haan to let her talk ,you go do your own work.
I- you don't know Raman ,she will see me and will start her rant ,she is always behind me ,if she say something about you .
R(smacking his head )- hey matarani ise kuch samajh nahi aata ,arey I told you na you are not ishita iyer but ishita bhalla my JKR who fight with me (Raavan Kumar) to marry me only ,to ye subbu dubbu ki amma kya cheez hain, go and answer her all rants strongly ,I too will join you .
Ishita looked at him as if seeking his permission, he pressed his eyes assuring he is with her .Ishita opened the door and went out slowly ,she again looked back ,Raman signalled her to proceed ,she at last prayed to murugan and went to hall .The moment she entered the hall subbu's amma spoke " atlast she came ,we are waiting for her for long and she was with her husband in this hours ,( looking to Ishita ) don't you feel shy ,spending time with your husband in these hours in when your Mil and Fil are in house ."
Ishita didn't spoke anything but toshiji answered " isme sharm ki kya baat hai ,we all know that Raman needs her care more than us ,this is good that my puttar has got such a caring wife ."
S A- I must say you have a big heart , you like her alot besides knowing her disability .ya phir in logo be aapko bhi nahi bataya ,kyun madhu you didn't told them that ishita can never became a mother ,she can never bear a child .
Ishita curled her palm in tight fist to stop herself but she recalled ruhi disappointed face ,she recalled how she was panicking to play with a baby when she was stopped to play .Ishits couldn't stop herself and spoke " no my family know everything about my disability and you know what they don't have any problem ."
SA- (looking towards toshiji )- sachchi you don't have any problem with her disability, actually hoga bhi kyun ,your son is already a divorcee and now I have heard that he cannot walk ,to aise bete ke liye...
She can't complete as ishita interrupted her in mid and asked straightforward
"aap yahan kyun aayi hain ".
SM - what type of question is this , madhu ishu has become so ill mannered.
Amman smiled fully and then spoke faking to scold" ishu how can you talk like this ".
Again she smiled looking towards toshiji ,ishita spoke " amma I m just asking why you people came here ,I myself would had come to meet aunty ."
SM- (smirking )- I just came here to tell you and invite your family for a little function which we are organizing for subbu's son .
I(pretending to be unaffected)- oh subbu became father's that's great.within a year he got married and became father also ,seems actually he wanted to marry only for babies only .
Toshiji and amma laughed listening to this while subbu's mothers face fell listening to this .They talked for some more time then went from there inviting bhallas for the function ,subbu's mother insisted that ishita should bring Raman too .
In the evening Ishita was helping ruhi in her homework when Raman came from his office room and asked" arey ishita you are not ready yet ."
I- arey we going somewhere .
R- subbu's mother called us for function na , aren't we going .
I- nope .
R- why .
I- why kya nahi jaana hai bas.
R- that's what I k asking why you don't want to go.
I- I m helping ruhi in her project ,then I have to read a case file ,ooper se you are also not well ,aap kaise ,and if you are not going I will also not go .
Raman sit beside her and spoke making her look at him " Ishita why are you so scared ".
I( keeping her head on his chest )- I m not scared raman .
R- phir kya baat hai ,why you are not going .
I- many reasons are there ,but the most important reason is I don't want to bother you ,at first you are not well ,you can't stand or sit for much time ,how will you go there and I don't want to go without you.
R-( caressing her cheek )- arey I m coming with you na ,will go and meet everyone then will come back .
I- how will you manage .
R- I m good ishita ,you just have to massage my back lil more tonight .
He spoke smiling ,she too smiled listening to him .Soon bhallas got ready and went to Iyers .Iyers greeted bhallas and took them inside,they had arranged a comfortable chair for Raman ,he sat in that ,ruhi went to play with shravu who was while ishita was sitting beside Raman .
Raman called ishita and asked " ishita where is your subbu dubbu ."
Ishita glared him and spoke " he is not mine,samjhe ."
R- achcha ,show me where he is .
I- mujhe kya pata ,I didn't saw him yet .
They were talking when they listened some ladies talk ,they turn and saw some relatives of Iyers were congratulating subbus mother " pota hone ki bahut bahut badhai ho ".
Subbu mother greeted them and spoke
" it all happened with the blessing of murugan ,he saved us at right time nahi to I was going to do my subbus marraige with that barren ishita ".
L1- that's right glad you are saved .
L2- arey I have listened some days back that ishita married some Punjabi boy .
L1- haan,me too listened that he is divorcee and have a daughter .
L2- chalk achcha hi hua ,waise bhi koi fresh ladka to usse shadi nahi karta at least she got married and got a child too .
L1- I have listened that she is too happy in her life.
SM- kahe ki happy her husband got attacked on the day of engagement and now he can't walk .
L2- poor ishita seems happiness is not in her fate .
SM- she herself is a bad omen ,jahan jaati hai wahi sab kharab ho jata hai .
Ishra were listening all this ,both were looking to each other and were holding each others hand tightly to support the other .At the same time subbu's mother pretended that she has seen them now itself and spoke " arey ishita you are sitting here ,sorry I didn't saw you actually we were talking ...
Ishita didn't let her complete and spoke " about me ,haina ".
SM- haan we were just saying poor you ..
I- no aunty let me clear you all ,I m not poor as like every married woman I also have a nice big family ,a loving husband and a adorable daughter ,yeah you are right I was barren but not anymore ,I have my ruhi with me and about my husband ,why are you again and again saying that he can't walk ,he can walk though with Lil difficulty but he can walk and for you all's information he take care of me better than a fit person .I m happy and contended in my life but I don't show anybody but seems you and subbu are not satisfied with his life that's why you people are showing and telling again and again that you are happy .Aap logo be mujhe reject kar diya tha na then why you people are coming again and again in my life ,and mind you this time I m talking very calmly but next time I will not be so patient .
At the sane time subbu entered the house ,listening to the chores he walked to them and spoke almost shouting on ishita " hey ishita how can you talk like this to my amma ".
I- who are you ,I don't know you and if I don't know you how can I talk to your mother calmly when she is insulting my husband.
S- ishu what are you...
I- ishita bhalla .
Subbu gave a questioning look to her while she continued " I m ishita bhalla ,so it will be better that you call me by that name only ".
I(shouting )- amma amma ..
A- what ishu ..
I- amma I m going where people insult my husband I can't stay there for a second .
Before amma tell anything she went to Raman and spoke " chaliye Raman bahut tamasha ho gaya ".
At the same time they heard subbu "sir you here ".
All turned to him while he went to Raman and greeted " sir how come you are here ,be comfortable, glad to see you ,thankuou somuch sir for coming to our place ".
R- no Mr subramanium why you are thanking me ,rather I should thank you .
S- you will thank me for what .
R- for leaving ishita ,for ditching her .
S- what.
R- yeah subbu ,thanks for leaving her ,if you wouldn't had left her how would I married her .
subbu looked at ishita while raman continued " yeah ishita is my wife and she I'd not a bad omen but blessing for me and my family ,today if we are happy and smiling its because of her ,so I m very much thankful to you .now we can leave ,chalein ishita ".
Saying so he got up with ishita help and was going when subbu went to them and spoke " sir I m sorry from my mothers side but you please don't go like this " .
R- no Mr subramaniam I can't stay in that place where my wife is insulted.
S- sir please ,amma why did you insulted ishita ,she is my boss wife .
SM- boss ?
S- yeah he is my new boss . Sir please stay for sometimes .
R- its ok subramaniam ,I m going .
S- no sir sorry .
R- ok if you actually want to apologize you and your mother should say sorry to my wife .
I- chodiye na raman .
R- no ishita ,let them say sorry ,they should get reward for their deeds na .
Ishita was shooking her head negatively while Raman was firm in his decision abd was waiting for subbu and his mom to say sorry to ishita .
Subbu and his mother were looking to each other when ruhi came running to them and spoke " pati I don't want any baby as I love my ishima too much and if new baby will come she will get less time to love me ,so new baby cancel ,I will only remain my ishima's baby ,aapko apna baby nahi dena hai to mat do ."
saying so she hugged ishita ,ishita picked her in her arms, kissed her cheeks and told " chaliye Raman you must be tired ".
