After 15 days- Early morning - Dev's Room

Sonakshi- DEv!! I am going office - today we have an very important meeting regarding restucturing , especially my department.Sorry Aaj main full day busy rahogi and mera mobile bhi off rahega so pls manage it.. OK

Dev- Hmmm ( still sleeping ) OH ok

SOnakshi- Are u listening?

Dev- No!! Come here first...

Sonakshi sit beside sleeping Dev.

SOnkashi- Are u listening what I am saying? You have to manage everything specially all matters related to Devki..

Dev who is still feeling sleepy pulled Sonaskhsi towards him with a force that sonakshi lands on Dev's chest..

Sonakshi- NO !!Dev pls leave me..Masti maat karo..Pls not now.. I am getting late.. It is already 7am. I have to reach office around 7:30am

Dev- Pulling sonakshi more close towards him and giving cheeks kiss to her.. Yummy Mummy..and Dev is pulling sonakshi one more time to give her one more cheek kiss but realised that someone is watching them

It was none other than DEVKI

Devki- Yummy Mummy.. But she is my mummy.Your mummy is dadi.So if my mummy is your your yummy mummy then what is my dadi to you?Does everyone has two mummy?Means one mummy and other yummy mummy? If yes then where is my yummy mummy?

Dev- Just stop it Devki..Please... Erase everything.. I beg of you.. Please..

Sonakshi just get up and then gave a look to Dev - Not again Dev.. Not again.. You managed it please - and all the best. I hope everyone doesn't knows about this as well.😕

Devki- But Mumma..

Sonakshi - Sorry baby.. We will talk in the evening.. Mumma is busy today.

After Sonakshi left the room, Dev begged infront of Devki for not sharing this yummy mummy incident with everyone.

Devki gave promise to Dev that she won't shared it with everyone but she is still confused why can't she shared or ask about yummy mummy to everyone?

Devki went to Ishwari room - to play n to do her usual activities .

At 8:00 am - at Dev's room

Dev was very busy with his company members and management team discussing about his today's important.

Ishwari entered to Dev's room looking very tense.

Dev saw her and disconnect the phone and asked her why she is looking so tense.

Ishwari= Dev!! Tere mamaji ka phone aaya tha.Tujhe toh pata hai woh social work kuch kar rahe hai Gaon mein.. But aaj unke worker ka phone aaya tha ki unki tabiyat kuch theek nahi hai.. Mujhe bada darr lag raha hai. Main jake aati hoon aaj bhaiya ko dekh lugi then unko bhi accha lagega. But devki ka kaise karege. Ashaji and Dadi bhi Kolkata gayi hui hai..

Dev- Maa !! Aap jaye main devki ko dekh luga.. Don't worry aap Mamaji ke pass jaye.. and pls kuch chaiye then phone karna & jaldi wapas aana .

After Ishwari left to village to visit Mamaji's. Dev and Devki was left alone in this Ishwari Niwas house.

Dev- Devki come quickly and aaj tum mere saath office chalogi and beta I want to say something to you .. Aaj meri bahut important meeting hai so main itna time nahi de sakta hoon but yes Tina Aunty aap ke saath rahegi ..

And you know the rest .. Right??

Devki - with innocent looking eyes- Right.. Main aapna baag ready karti hoon..

Dev-But remind you we are going to office and not picnic so small bags will be prefect.

10:00 AM - DEV- office

Dev entered the office with 4 medium-sized bag, Devki's purse and ofcourse Devki was carrying two dolls in her hands as well- two bags were having only toys - other two was having his office papers and laptop .

Dev called - Tina!! pls come inside ..

Tina come inside and shocked to see Devki..

Tina- Sir aaj meeting hai international investment meeting.

Dev- I am sorry Tina but pls help me- Aaj sab busy hai and Devki ki holidays hai.

Take Devki along with you and usko dussre Sales meeting room saath raho - sit and play and tum bhi ussi room se work karo and usko dekho - I will try my well best to help u in both of the work.

Tina took Devki along with her with two medium-sized bags.

Mr. Steve came to Dev's office and their official board meeting started around 11:00am

Dev and his management team was giving presentation on investment schemes.

Inside Sales Meeting Room

Devki was playing with her toys and in between she was coming towards Tina and doing her usual stuff- like nailpaint, doing her hair and putting bands and hairclips.

The intercom rang.

Tina- Hello!! You want me to come to your board room to give this file.

Tina- Sorry Sir !! I will sent it through someone else. I don't think I shld come to your room so many bands and hairclips.

Dev- GOt it and no need to come. SENT to it through someone else.

Sales team came and was shocked to see TINA like this.

TINA- What? I will complaint with Dev Sir about this.😡

Everyone in chorus - NO.. It is alright and you are looking beautiful.WE are here just to give you this papers.

TIna- Seee Rahul.. I think this files is still not updated..

Devki came towards TINA- I think no one shld put anything inside eyes, ears and nose.

TIna- Oh yes Devki .. You are right..Tina was again busy with Sales people discussing their issues.

Devki pulled Tina dress and said- I think no one means no one shld never ever put anything inside anything, because it hurts.

Tina was alerted with this - Devki .. Did you put something somewhere ?

Devki- Nodded - Yes..

Tina- OH MY GOD!! Where ?

Devki - INside my nose..

TIna- getting panic attacks shouted in top voice- but what?

Devki- Do u see pen's cap. At the top of the caps , there is whitey-whitey thing which i have put inside my nose.

Meanwhile one saleperson came towards TIna

Rahul- See Tina I think this one

Tina shouted at him- STOP IT !! JUST STOP IT .. GET OUT ELSE Main KUch kar dugi ... Right now --- leave all of you ..

TIna - make Devki Sleep on the table with help of mobile torch - tried to see the white thing in her nose.

ANd Yes there was one tiny-miny white block inside her nose.

Tina - Devki !! Breathe ..

Devki started breathing heavly.Tina thought with heavy breathing white block might go more inside of her nose.

TIna- No no !! Don't breathe ..I mean breathe but not heavly.

Devki- Wait ..Are u able to breathe first tell me this ?

Devki - Yes..

Tina quickly carry Devki and run towards Board meeting room ..

Dev watched TIna thorough glass window carrying devki and running towards this conference room . Dev was got suspicious and got up in the middle of the meeting.

Dev came outside the room

Tina - Dev Sir !! I am sorry Sir.. I was watching it Sir.. I was looking it .. NO please that time i was talking to sales people and not looking at her..

Dev- Calm down TINa .. Calm Down .. Relax.. Aur batao kya hua.

Meanwhile even Mr.Steve was watching Dev and TINA thorough glass window as well and out of humanity and curiosity came outside to ask if everyone is alright.

Mr.Steve- Is everything alright with Mr. Dev..

Dev- Yeah .. I ,.. Actually even I don;t know.. even am asking the same question to TINA. She is my secretary & Pls ignore her weird hairstyle.and she is my daughter Devki..Today dues to some unavoidable condition Devki is in my office, since I can;t leave her alone at home.

Mr. Steve- Yeah that is absolutely fine.You see even in western countries , we face such type of problems.. I am absolutely fine with it

Tina who was still carrying Devki , was irrirated to hear their formal talks when she as facing major problem.

Devki is still playing with Tina's hair. Tina is loosing patience.

Tina- SIRRR!!! Do you know one shld not put anything inside Nose, ears and mouth??

Dev- HEIN...???

MR.STEVE- WHAT ???

Dev understood it immediately that it is related to Devki .- WHICH part???

TINA- Nose?

Dev- Visible ??

Tina - Yesss.. I am sorry Sir.. I have no idea when she..

Dev- It's ok Tina. Pls call Sonakshi and Doctor. And Meet me at carpark with my laptop. And give Devki to me.. MR. Steve - Pls Excuse me !! Need to go somewhere else but my team will give every details of investment ..

With this Dev started running towards lift , still carrying Devki..

Mr. Steve running behind Dev- That's alright Mr.Dev. But Mr.Dev am still confused what exactly is she was saying?

Devki- My dollie.. I can't go without my dollie and my purse..

Mr.Steve and Dev- where is your doll and your purse ?

Devki- It's other in that room uncle- Devki told Mr.Steve through hand gestures to bring her dollie & purse from Sales board room.

Mr. Steve simple follow the instructions of Devki.

Dev- No! No ! Mr. Steve pls don't bother it- But Mr.Steve already went inside the room.

Meanwhile the lift came and Dev quickly went inside the lift. As Dev don't want to waste single minute.

Dev and Devki quickly reached the Car Park. Dev called Tina to bring his laptop .

Tina and Mr. Steve both were running in full speed towards Dev's Car and sit inside the Car.

As soon as both came inside Dev immediately starts driving, he didn't realised that Mr.Steve is also inside the car. He was not able to think straight. Need Sonakshi at this moment.

Inside the CAR-

Tina- Sir! Mrs.Dixit phone is unreachable . Her phone is switched off. This is your laptop. I have called Devki's paediatrician

Dev- Oh I remembered she told me that whole day she will be keeping her phone switched off. Anyway did you speak to Doctor and inform him?

Tina - Yes Sir. Doctor told me to bring Devki asap , even he is not in clinic , but will reach it very soon.

Meanwhile at the backside Devki jumped over Mr. Steve for bring her dollie and purse.

Devki- Muah Muah ( gave two kisses on Mr. Steve's cheeks)- Thank you Uncle. You are very nice. You see I don't like to go anywhere without my dollie and purse.

Mr. Steve- Oh you are welcome .. You are such sweet heart.

Mr. Steve- where are we going?

Dev realised that Mr. Steve is also there in the car after hearing his voice.

Dev- Oh Mr. Steve ...You are here. I have told you to stay in office and my team would have told you about investment business plan.

Devki- Daddy. Don't say this. He bought my dollie and purse for me, which you and Tina aunty didn't even bother .

Tina- Devki baby . when did you told me to bring me ?

Dev look at Tina- Devki !! You leave aside all these things. After all this- we need to sit and talk - face to face. I am quite upset at this moment.

Mr. Steve- Don;'t be upset Mr. Dev. It's ok . She is lovely child.

Dev bit irritated with Mr. Steve - I am sorry I can't drop you at office Mr. Steve. You have to come with us.It is emergency.

Mr.Steve- That is alright. But I Still didn't get it what is the emergency ?

Doctor called Tina. Both Tina and Dev were busy in talking to Doctor , giving him details of the episode and Devki's general information.

Devki then again came and sit beside Mr. Steve- I will tell you. No one shld put anything inside their nose , mouth and ears.

Devki blink after saying this statement.

Mr. Steve- Wonderful piece of information. But I still didn't get it how it is related to emergency ?

Devki get up and lay on Mr. Steve's Lap( Mr. Steve was too shocked to react) - See inside my nose. I have put one tiny miny white block inside my nose. And Started breathing heavenly in a dramatic way.

Mr. Steve was too shocked to react and even say a word.

Mr. Steve at top of his voice - Mr. Dev Dixit.. It is emergency. Oh MY GOD..

Meanwhile Dev and of course everyone inside the car reached the Hospital.

Dev after parking quickly pickup Devki and tina was overloaded with laptop , her purse , Devki' purse. So Mr.Steve came forward and offered help and carry dollies in his hand for devki.

Outside Doc's cabin

Receptionist- Am sorry Sir.. Doctor will here very soon. Nurse will come and examine her.

Dev and Tina were busy in giving every single of Devki to Nurse- regarding vaccine and allergy problems.

Meanwhile Devki and Mr. Steve sit in visiting room waiting for the Doctor

Visiting Area Room:

Devki : Well I am feeling very bored.

She opened her purse and took rubber bands, comb and nail paint.

Devki- Well you like to play with me- girlie-girlie game?

Mr. Steve- Well honey.. I am not girl. I don't think I can apply that thing to your nails properly.

Devki- Well that's alright . I will apply it to you.

Mr. Steve too shocked to imagine himself applying nail paint - Well honey Am sorry..I can't. You see

Hearing refusal from Mr. Steve for nail paint. Devki again started her dramatic breathing.

Mr. Steve- Alright.. Alright. You can apply but please stop that dramatic breathing. You are scaring me.

Devki starts putting nail paint on Mr. Steve nails.Its pink in colour.

Doctors' Room

Gupta Doctor - Hello Mr. Dixit. Sorry I am stuck in the traffic. Where is Devki. Hope you have done all formalities. Let's bring over here quickly.

Dev and Tina run towards Visiting room to bring Devki and shocked to see Devki applying nail paint to Mr. Steve.

Dev to Tina- Tina!! Call our lawyer and told him not to waste his energy in making any agreement.

Tina- Even I am thinking the same Sir.

Dev coming towards Devki- Devki. Enough of this. Doctor is calling you.

Devki- Wait Daddu. Am applying nail paint once it is finished I will come.

Mr. Steve was sitting like frozen person and with his stern look he conveyed it - DON"T talk to me and don't disturb me at all.

Dev quickly pick up Devki and told Tina to bring everything along with her.

Inside Doctor's Cabin

Doctor- Ok . I will put this spray and with this small fine pin will try to pull this white blocked. It will hurt little bit. Am sorry for that. Mr. Dixit I want to you to hold Devki as tightly as possible. Is she moves it then I might hurt her by mistake.

Dev was too nervous now and Devki was crying in full loud volume. Dev really don't know how to calm her down and So was Tina who was dancing with toys , trying to divert her mind as much as possible.

Doc- Mr.Dixit . You have to do this for your daughter. Be brave nothing will happened to her.

Dev, two nurse, Tina hold Devki as tightly as possible while doc tried to remove the white block. Finally after half an hour white block came out.

Devki was bleeding and Dev was too anxious to see that. Doctor told him it was normal. Nothing to worry. Gave some medicine to Devki, and told Dev she might feel little sleepy for whole of the day.

Devki demands to eat something as she was hungry. Dev was too disturbed seeing blood from her nose. Dev immediately agrees to it.

While coming outside the hospital Dev was carrying Devki and was patting her softly.Tina with her stuff and Dev's laptop and Mr. Steve( with his 7 nails painted in pink colour) carrying Devki Dolls and her purse. Millionaire tycoon has become assistant to 5 and half year old girl Devki.

Devki softly- Daddu. Will you scold me for putting that white block inside my nose?

Dev holding her tight- No darling. But we need to talk. You should never ever put anything inside your nose, mouth and ears. And not even to your friends and to anyone. Promise me for that.

Devki- I am sorry Daddu while making a sweet puppy face.

Dev- Oh baby. I love you a lot. Gave her lots of kisses.

All 4 - Dev, Devki, Tina and Mr, Steve of course went into Chinese Restaurant as per Devki's demand.

Inside Resturant.

Dev specifically kept Devki beside him and told her not to disturb Mr. Steve anymore and told Tina through gestures please try to talk to him.

Dev ordered - Fried Rice, Noodles. Some Chicken dishes for Mr. Steve. And of course chocolate ice-cream in advance.Both Dev and Tina has to went out to attend their business call.

Devki- Well I love noodle,ice-cream a lot . What do you like? Only chicken?

Mr. Steve was not speaking to anyone specially after nail paint episode.

Meanwhile Dev and Tina were still busy over the phone.

Mr. Steve starts eating his food and found it very spicely and tears starts coming down from his eyes. Mr. Steve was having worst day of his life, searching for glass of water.

Devki saw him struggle in searching the glass and pouring water in the glass.

She came and sit beside him again.

She poured water inside the glass and with small hands holding the glass she gave it to him with smile. While Mr. Steve was drinking the water , Devki was still holding his glass and helping him drink.

Devki- Oh uncle. You and me are same to same. Don't eat your chicken . But eat my noodles, it is not spicy. We will share.

Mr. Steve- No !! No You eat your food. Don't worry as such am not that hungry.

Devki- No!! It's already lunch time. Daddy said you came from outside somewhere. So you must be very hungry.

Mr. Steve laughed hearing that. For the first time in almost 2-3 hours , he laughed hearing innocent cute child talks.

Devki bring her plate of noodles, tries to feed Mr. Steve, in the process she dropped few noodles over his suits. Now Mr. Steve has pink nail paint and oily stains on his suits.

But Mr. Steve was not observing the stain that he was totally bowled by caring and innocence of Devki. The consent she has for him. He was never feed like this in years. He never gave time to his kids. That time he was just want to reach the top of the business, ready to sacrifice everything and anything.

Devki was patting him , asking him to much properly, was wiping his mouth.😆Tears started to roll down from his eyes again, but not because of spicy but because of regret of running for materialistic things.

Devki -Are you still feeling spicy. Don't worry eat this ice-cream. This is 100% not spicy.

Mr. Steve again refused it but Devki was too stubborn comparatively. She feeds him entire ice-cream.

When Dev and Tina returned to table , saw Devki feeding ice-cream and most of it was falling on his suit. Dev took deep breath and again pick up Devki and placed it next to him.

Tina, Dev totally avoided the sensitive embarrassing questions, talked mostly about the general stuff. But Mr. Steve mind was somewhere else. He quickly get up and excused himself and went outside and for the first time in 5 years called his son to see how he is doing? His son pick up his call and they talked to each other very formally but after 5 years. Mr. Steve asked him whether is it possible for him to come down to his place for xmas this year. Surprisingly he agreed. Mr. Steve was very happy and returned back to dinning table , but his mind was somewhere else-with his family.

Dev, Mr. Steve, Tina and Devki came back to office again.

Conference Room.-

When Mr. Steve sat with his team to discuss the investment plan as he was not present during the presentation.

Inside Dev's Cabin.

Dev was looking after Devki , she was crankly and feeling very sleepy. Dev ignoring everything , carried her , pat her very slowly. Tina was running over here and there hysterically as she was overloaded with pending work.

After discussing with Team , Mr.Steve and Team entered into Dev's cabin.

Mr. Steve was stamped by look of innocent Devki sleeping on Dev slap.

Mr. Steve gave instructions to every members to speak as softly as possible and try not to make any noise

Dev when saw Mr. Steve , tries to get up. But Mr. Steve told him to sit and not to bother himself.

Mr. Steve's Team gave a small presentation on business plan in extreme low volume so much that even Dev was struggling to hear sometimes. Dev was as such was not expecting anything positive but still wants to know feedback from them Mr. Steve was too much surprised to see calm and composed Dev. He was surprised to see Dev is going to loose million dollar project ( one of the biggest collaboration in white good industry). Still not effected by it , Mr. Dev Dixit is still in calm and compose and still giving more attention to his daughter. Mr. Steve s team almost to about to give verdict but

Mr. Steve- Mr. Dixit. I want to say something.

Dev-Yes go ahead.

Mr. Steve- I want to work with you. ( Entire Team was shocked to hear that. They are trying to convey things to Mr. Steve that collaboration with Mr. Dev Dixit company will be expense affair , however they are more businessmen who are ready to do same things in less price).

Mr. Steve- Well I must be honest with you. Today was rollar coaster ride for me . Worst part is pink nail paint ( Steve's team wants to laugh but everyone control their laughter and Dev was embrassesd) but the same time it was best day of my life as well. Your daughter - she is an angel. The way she feed me, she wipes my mouth, and even patting on my back to see if am munching the food properly. She forced to remember my family. Means my family- parents, kids, wife , everyone. In the process of becoming rich, famous and to be at top, I had to sacrificed my family. That is huge price. IS money able to give joy, peace, happiness. No..!!! Am openly saying - NO.. I was just running after materialistic things , leaving behind my most precious people.

I admire you Mr. Dixit. I loved how to ignore everything for your daughter without thinking the consequences . You know the importance of family, values and most importantly love. I admire you how you are trying to keep the balance. How much you were calm and compose although you were very much clear about verdict with tone of team member.

You should never suffer for this. Never. I want to work with you . No i am giving you any favour. You are good businessman as well . Your prices are bit higher but am sure it will be worth it.

I have done alot of profit and business but this marginal loss is not big deal with me.Today I want to do business who is not only good businessman but good human being as well.

Dev- Too Shocked to know that he is actually getting the project. Well I don;t know what to say and what to do.

Mr. Steve- Well don't mind I want to say something very important. Very important.

Dev- Yes. Whatever just say.

Mr. Steve- I want nail paint removal please. I want to catch my flight . This is really too embarrassing .

Dev- Oh yes.

Dev called Tina to come inside immediately.

Dev- Tina. Please give nail paint removal to Mr. Steve.

Tina- I don't have nail paint removal Sir.

Dev- What ? You don't have .

Tina - Well but I can arrange it within 5 mins/

Dev- Thank you Tina. Please be fast.

Mr. Steve- Well my team will send you all details of agreement and terms and conditions of the project. Next month I will come again to sign the deal and official letter you will get from my side by tomorrow. Is it okay,

Dev- Oh well !! more than enough .. Thank you ..

Mr. Steve- Well am leaving now. WIll take nail paint removal from Tina outside only. Before leaving give my love to your little angel. And don't worry next time I will bring nail paint removal along with me. 😳

After Mr. Steve left the office. Dev decided to go to home with sleeping Devki.

Tina came inside the Dev's Cabin.

Dev- One big important notice to you from nowon always means always keep nail paint removal in your purse. Infact I want every employees of our company to have compulsory nail paint removal in their bag. Dev noticed that Tina is lost somewhere. Hello Tina.. Are U ok ?

Tina - Yes Sir. I am fine.. Nail paint Removal ..She was about to go.

Dev stopped her and asked her once again - Tina are u ok ?

Tina- Nothing Sir.. I was just thinking like. Humare Desh mein aaj bhi log "beta hone" ki blessing dete hai . Jab ki betiyan aapno ke liye jitna karti hai utna toh bete bhi kar nahi pate.

Dev- Well I agree with you TIna..Devki ne mujhe sirf diya hi diya hai- Sonakshi, Maa, in fact every relation has come back again after this angel came into my life. Am sure son must be equally good, loving and caring but I wished every human being should have atleast one daughter in life. Woh aapko aapno se milti hai.

Yeh Betiyaaan Dil se dil ka rishta bananti hai...

Today once again, he wants to thank GOD 100000000000000000000000000000000 times for giving Devki. He can not live without his naughty cheeky girl.
