Neetu Singh and Dimple Kapadia had a perfect ladies' day out over the weekend

Good friends Neetu Singh and Dimple Kapadia (sans children and grandchildren) were out and about in the suburbs on Saturday afternoon. The former actresses, who were accompanied by a gang of female friends, were in their usual jolly mood ––cracking frequent jokes and talking about their shopping trips at Fifth Avenue in New York City. After the initial exchanges, the ladies walked into a posh Juhu hotel for their lunch, and were later joined by Karan Johar. 😆

The gang settled down for to a lavish spread at the hotel caf?. As expected, they indulged in gossiping on their favourite topics, Bollywood being on the top of the list.

Neetu shared stories about her son Ranbir, his schedules, films and food-habits. Dimple reiterated her decision of not taking up all the films that came her way. She also talked about her grandchild, Aarav who is Twinkle and Akshay Kumar's son. An eyewitness says, "Apart from relishing the food, they were chatting, laughing and sharing stories about their New Year celebrations."

The ladies were clearly enjoying the chatty KJo's company till Neetu and Dimple excused themselves and went to the washroom. Once they were inside, the ladies decided to light up a cigarette in private. They giggled like girls, sitting on a comfy couch in the ladies' room.

A hotel staff who did not wish to be named, says, "It was wonderful to see the actresses bond with each other. Neetu urged Dimple to bring out a cigarette. They behaved like school girls as they smoked. Our current block of actresses for whom catfights are a routine, should take a lesson from these two stars."

Dressed in casual tees and denims, Neetu was also seen exchanging greetings with the other guests in the washroom. A guest adds, "Neetu and Dimple were extremely sweet. They don't have starry airs at all."
