FLOW
"Radhey! Radhike!"
Dharani woke up with wide eyes. Ever since understanding she was Radhey, this was her recurring dream. Just her Lord's voice, calling her those two names.
She knew that she hadn't gotten into being Radhey the way being Andal had been for her. Andal was probably the most spontaneous for her to accept, as was Alamelu. Satyabhama took longer, but she was pretty sure that accepting she was Radhey would come easier than her acceptance as being Sita. Being Sita had taken her over three months. Oh how her Raghunath must have suffered seeing her inner turmoil! Yet, His patience was endless, that all her curious and confused questions He answered, with love and affection in His tone and His body language.
"You know why it has to be this way right?"
A sweet voice she heard to her right. She turned, and saw Devi Parvati sitting next to her.
"Ma", said Dharani, hugging Parvati tightly. "I do Ma. I do"
Parvati hugged her daughter tightly, singing a lullaby. Dharani needed the sleep, and with Her Bhaiya working all the time, She had to be there for Her. The way Her Lord was for Shrikala.
Uma smiled peacefully, as she felt Bhudevi stroking her hair and singing her a lullaby. With her crazy life, her time with her Ma is what made her relax the most. Other than her Lord, of course, she thought, with a soft blush on her face.
"Are you dreaming of Mahadev Bhaiya kid?", asked Bhudevi, a mischievous lilt to her voice.
"Maaa!", said Uma, burying her head in Bhudevi's lap. She was still relatively new to who she was, and every time she thought of Lord Shiva, all she could do was blush.
Bhudevi's lilting laugh lulled Uma into a sleep, a sleep where she forgot reality, and all that existed was her Lord.
Dharani's phone pinged. Looking down, she saw the name Shrikala' on the display.
Finally!', thought Dharani. This one has been out of town for almost a month. I missed her like crazy'
Dharani and Shrikala had bumped into each other at a conference held in Shrikala's college, and they had become instant friends. Their friendship had developed so quickly, that within two days, they knew each other the way sisters did.
A connection that had lasted through everything.
Dharani replied to Shrikala:
Come home fast kidd. I am waiting to see you!'
She fidgeted with the phone, as a sudden thought struck her. In her entire life, Shrikala was the only who loved her Lord the way she did. What if... Oh!
Dharani gasped in delight, and grinned at the Lord Vishnu idol near her mirror. The idol grinned back, mischievously telling her she is right. She let out a delighted laugh, and twirled around in her room. She felt arms around her, and her Lord twirled her about in her room, over and over, as her delight came out in the form of ecstatic giggles.
Shrikala sighed and stared at the mirror.
"You know your Bhu love. You have to find her", said Lord Vishnu, smiling mysteriously.
"A hint my Lord?", asked Shrikala, an adorable pout forming on her lips.
"Impossible. Think and tell me!", said the Lord, laughing.
She continued staring, when she suddenly looked down at her phone, and saw the screensaver, which was her best friend, rather sister Dharani. Dharani was one of the names of her Bhu as well.
She wished, at times, that Dharani was her Bhu. Understanding and talking would be so much easier. She heard a laugh in her head when she thought that.
Swami?', thought Shrikala.
Love?', asked He, innocently.
Why are you laughing?', asked she, pouting.
You will see', said He, laughing continuously in her head, leaving her confused, but with a smile on her lips.
"Hare Ramachandra, Raghukulesa
Mridhusubhasha, Sesha Sayana Barana"
Dharani danced to the beauty of the Thyagraja kriti, Sadinchane. In front of her eyes, stood He, He who is called Rama by most, Nath by her. Her Raghunath was standing in front of her, making her almost cry, bringing a feeling to her face that most never could. Her love and devotion for Him spoke through her dace. Her Paramatma, her Raghuvar smiled at her so lovingly, that her dance improved, and she became more energetic.
She finished the dance, and sat on the floor, closing her eyes.
Wrapping her in His arms tightly, He placed a loving kiss on her lips, sending tingles all over her body.
Dharani opened her eyes, a red blush forming on her face, and all over her body.
"Dreaming about your Krishna again?", asked her friend Shraddha, bumping her shoulder with Dharani's.
"Sort of", said Dharani, blushing. One of His forms, Raghunath. But you don't need to know that. They are one, after all'
"Aww, you are blushing", said Shraddha, pinching Dharani's cheeks.
Dharani laughed, and said, "Come. Ma Kamakshi calls us"
Shrikala looked nervously at Dharani, Dharani looked amused and serious at the same time.
Shrikala had decided to go with her gut, and tell Dharani the truth. Dharani knew her, and Dharani won't judge her. Nervously, she looked at Dharani, who looked amused yet a little worried.
"Dharu, remember how I told you that Swami talks to me?", asked Shrikala.
"I know Shrii. Swami talks to me as well", said Dharani calmly, realising that Shrikala knew that she was Shri indeed.
"He does?", asked Shrikala, a little dumbstruck.
"Yep. And He told me something today", said Dharani, a light smirk showing up on her face.
"What?", asked Shrikala, narrowing her eyes lightly.
"He told me that you are the Shri to my Bhu", said Dharani, even more calmly, with a large smirk settled on her lips.
"He what?", asked Shrikala, with wide eyes, shock obvious in her brown eyes.
"He did", said Dharani.
"You are Bhu?", asked Shrikala.
"Didn't I just say that?", asked Dharani.
"Don't sass, Dhaaru!", said Shrikala.
"I am Bhu, as you are Shri. We are both Swami's Lakshmis", said Dharani, a soft smile adorning her face.
"Oh", said Shrikala, tears forming in her eyes.
"Shri"
"Bhu"
Simultaneously, both girls moved forward, and clung to each other, sobbing with relief that they finally have one another. The ancient souls of Shri and Bhu synced, and their sisterly love flew between the two girls, elevating the atmosphere to a whole new level.
The two sisters felt familiar arms wrap around them.
Shrikala to His right, Dharani to His left; both the sisters clung to the Lord of all Lords, Lord Narayana, as He finally shed tears of joy for the long-awaited reunion of two of His wives.
All they needed was Nila to be completely complete again!
