Hii,

So this is the first time I am ranting on my take on the promo. We have been confused whether Omie would be shown just as a typical cold-hearted hero and be given a girl who is running from marriage or can we still have our hope pinning onto a different kind of lead with a grey female character or at least a strong female character.

why not a female character who does believe in love and yet is grey- i mean whether a person is grey or not doesn't depend on his/her belief in love. Perhaps, she could be an ambitious woman running away in pursuit of her dreams.

In fact she could be a person who is running away because of some other reason (say, parents not supportive of what she wants to pursue etc.) and she runs away taking up a bridal attire so that no one just recognizes her.

PS. These are few of my random thoughts on the female character and I badly await another promo to make some sense of their characters.

Well, Your dream character for Omkara's counterpart is nice. I hope shrenu is that. But still-

1. Omkara is different in DBO so he doesn't really need a grey character.

2. Gul doesn't know how to handle grey characters, and you would certainly not want her to have the Same as Ishaana, now would you?

1. Omkara might not necessarily be a diff character, there is still a very thin line in him and the typical angry young man characters if Gul can handle that (atleast my feeling)

2. there can be a lot of shades and types of grey characters: I mean people lying smartly, even she could have if there was only bella or mala and not both. Again, I don't know Gul (I have only watched ib) so I can't say about that.

Finally, a grey character wouldn;t mean that the person ddoesn;t believe in love. They are two unrelated things- like Shivaay only we see, who loves his bros so much but still he did believe till a point in time that relationships are deals.

Om's own mom is a bhagodi dulhan, who ran to the love of her life Tej Oberoi, from marriage to Vikram Rana. Maybe it will be a play on that...

That's another interesting way of thinking it. But a little more on how u think that would happen.

Not sure at all! 😆 very little clues as yet.

His mother ran away to Tej, ended up losing her dreams and ambitions, eventually even Tej. She ended up drinking and lost. Perhaps Om refuses to fall in love..

It depends how far in the IBverse this story is set in. Wet know Om does not have a tragic love story. He is scarred by his parents' rough marriage, and a drug problem...

hahaha!!! Yup, that's true, the characters still have potential- only if the writers can pull them off. My curiosity is not even letting me do my work or anything else!!

Om is a lot different from his brothers & when he was introduced through promos, the hopes of all were pretty high that his story will be out of the box...a totally unique one opposite some unique female character...

But everything got messed up...& in a 21 min serial (cutting the 9 min ads), it became very difficult to carry forward all the stories of 3 brothers...

I told this to you, Appy...that actually if the stories of 3 brothers will be the main necklace, then their love stories will be the 3 equal sized pendants...the Promos for the serial meant that...but TIME became the crucial factor & they couldn't maintain the level of their promos...

Anyways, now that they have heard the request of the viewers & started shooting for DBO...I hope they will create an amazing story for OmRu along with their leads...

About the character opposite Om, ya sure...I too wish to see a grey shaded character...arey zaruri thodi na hai ki har ladki hamesha ekdum idealistic hogi...ladkiyan v insaan hoti hain, aur insaano mein burayi aur acchai dono hoti hai...to if they r gonna show Om to be a very good person who is always truthful & is pretty idealistic, then a girl to be of his takkar, must have more grey shades so that when they come together, they actually get to fill the gaps of each other...

Hope Shrenu gets some character who can lie very efficiently, & she teaches Om that life is not all about truth always...lies must be there to make people realise the value of truth...or something like this...

Now, coming to a little different thing...I got to know from this forum that Surbhi Chandna is going to miss Neha...as the DBO set is a bit far from IB...what does that mean??? If OmRu & their leads will always be busy in DBO & Nakuul & Surbhi always busy with IB, then won't we get any Obros scene from now onwards??? 😭😭 IB was supposed to be the story of three brothers, right??? It was not supposed to be regular love story like the other serials...but if the 2 brothers will be away in shooting their own show & one will remain in the old show, then how r we gonna get the story the brothers were supposed to share...how will be get to see the bonding of the Obros??? 😭😭

And many elements will go missing...like the comedy of AniRu...the friendship of AniKara...the coonection between AniMya...how will we get to see all that??? 😭😭

Like many others, I was expecting that Om's lead will be Anika's long lost sister...even if she turns out to be that sister, then how will they show the bonding between the sisters if Surbhi hardly appears in DBO & Shrenu (don't know her characters name) never shows up in IB??? 😭😭

bahut rona aa raha hai...arey inko ek alag show banane ki kya zarurat thi...show k timing ko extend kar dete aur phir teeno bhaiyon ki story dikhate...ab set alag ho gaya toh kitna kuch missing hoga...Om toh already show se missing hai...😔😔
