It can also be that there are trailers to attract more viewers. We can only believe the promos that come from SBB, SBS or UMT. But even that is subject to last minute changes.

All of it seems to be Maya...she manipulated the entire thing...she led Sanjh to clues that would only reveal half the truth...she manipulated Jhanvi as well in telling only half the truth...and in the end she probably is the one playing with all

Think of it- the Jhanvi who ran away when Maya was in one of her moods, the Jhanvi who expressed her helplessness when Maya burnt Ashwin's gift, the Jhanvi who was near death in both the water and on eating those Ashwin given sweets, the Jhanvi who cleaned up the cake when Ashwin tried to manipulate her... all this doesn't look like a mastermind's character.

Maybe someone who is emotionally weak (Ashwin is her weak point regardless of how bad he is)

Whatever it is, as Isha's pointed out in her other thread, it's moving to being a thriller. I like that, although I'd also like Sony to give out less spoilers in the SBB-SBS sections- it won't be a thriller if you know everything beforehand.

True. From what we have seen of her character it does seem she's incapable of being a mastermind.

But on the other hand if we see Maya would have been dead that day when she had jumped into the water & hit her head if Arjun had not come on time to rescue her. Also the day she had rushed off with that speedboat to save Arjun... there was no guarantee she would come back alive. If she would have died on any of those days then all her manipulations to get Arjun or whatever else she has in mind would have ended with her death.

Looks like both mom & daughter are not scared of death & they can go to any extreme. Their brains are totally messed up.

Mastermind cannot be any of these two women

They maybe grey but they don't value their lives much... & mastermind cannot be these two women who doesn't think twice before doing something extreme like killing themselves.

I have been having this doubt ever since Jhanvi accepted ashwin back. I always get Yamini( nagin season 1) vibes from jhanvi.. She acts extra dumb.. I feel she is playing with both Ashwin and Maya.
I am loving beyhadh evn more, now that the thriller is increasing.

In this story, Jhanvi looks like the real villain, Ashwin is her pawn, Maya is the victim, Arjun her saviour and Saanjh is just a naive girl who gets manipulated..

P.S- the actress playing the role is a perfect choice.. glamorous mother of Maya Mehrotra.. but I can totally see her as a vamp in the future..compare her with Arjun and Saanjh's mothers.. this woman has it in her looks to play the perfect negative role..

history is proof even biggest warrior have been defeated in the end when their own people have back stabbed them . maya is overconfident no one can defeat her. she is wasting her talent and intelligence in wrong direction. her enemy will want her to get insecure of saanjh and she will keep her focus on her
. this way her enemy can plan against maya . sanjh needs to buck up to save herself from getting trapped in this mess.

my post may make u feel that i am considering jhanvi as ultimate villain. she might not be the ultimate villain but she is not dudh ki dhuli .

i didn't not see mehandi segment so my assumption are not based on that .

from starting only i felt weird about her .

jhanvi and maya both have weakness, they both are vulnerable but that doesn't mean they can't strike back. they r victims but they are predators too.

jhanvi ' s weaknesses is ashwin and maya is her need . but if her limits are pushed she can change her dynamic with this ckt.

i saw story of lobster family. this guy had defect hereditary and he used to work in circus. his finger and toes were of lobster shaped. so since childhood he was subjected to insult. but in circus that same defect he used as mean to earn . he exercised and made those fingers strong . later he got married with a his lady live . she loved him very much and hence post marriage tolerated his all abuse . he was victim in childhood but now he was assaulter. he wanted that control in his hand . people in circus were scared of him . he killed fiance of his daughter who was only normal child . and managed to get released early using handicap card . he was not punished for muder but kept restricted in his house . later his first wife divorced him , he married 2nd tym and tortured his 2nd wife too. she too left him .

all this while he kept contact with 1st wife . n she was so ready to forgive and accept him readily even after years of torture. even after knowing what he has done to his daughter and 2nd wife. so much blind in love.

this time he tried to redeem for few months but than again ge started to torture every one . and finally the same wife who looked so submissive ,vulnerable who still loved him decided to kill him and shot him dead with help contract killer.

this is true story and why i shared this to tell you that same vulnerable jhanvi can change the colour . her obsession for ashwin can kill Ashwin if she finds out again he is cheating her . her affection for maya can change into hate if she feels she is not important now and all her love is given to arjun . her share of property is given to arjun . maya all this while caged her , she might feel i scarificed my love chose maya over ashwin and now maya is choosing arjun over her . now she might feel suffocated with that control.

she is unpredictable just like maya. i will sympathise withthem but i can never justify their wrong doing. and they are quite manipulative and unpredictable . so u can't guarantee that they are innocent.

as i said when saanjh received those mails most of the tym maya was with arjun .Either she played this game with help of jhanvi or jhanvi played this alone.

Jaavi is the most delusional and gullible person, she just takes it to a new heights all together I swear... that's why Ashwin uses her all the time...so why can't Maya..? Anyways whatever Jaanvi told was truth, I thought people would've understood by now that however Maya maybe she never lies... Maya is manipulative, yes...she presents things twisted ways making it in her favor, yes and that is what Maya did when Saanjh went all detective over her. See Maya doesn't like Ashwin and the only reason she is keeping him around is not for Jaanvi but for she can keep eyes on him because she knows he'll try to drive Arjun away from her...as long as Maya is alone Ashwin can easily get his way but with Arjun around now, it's not easy as earlier and he knows Maya may over come his installed fear with Arjun's help which he doesn't want to let happen.

Beyhadh is romantic thriller
not love story.
i thought they will show arjun andmaya as couple or married from epi 1 . i thought they will not give importance to saanjh connection with arjun. she will be one sided lover who will get importance when she comes to rescue.

arya story is fast ward due to lack of episode can not be justified. because there are episodic love story presented much better . arjun and maya romance is shown more of physical intimacy than emotional bonding . where as cvs gave so much episode to stress on saanjh n arjun frnship ,n also how saanjh is important for arjun but he doesn't love her romantically.

i feel major essence of Beyhadh is obsession thrill , when people will watch this show without any end game prejudice than we might get cler picture about show .

@kavya i am not sure wether maya is not lier or not. but what jhanvi revealed is not completely truth . maya was prepared when saanjh was about reveal all that information to arjun. she didn't not put any masala. she clearly told sum1 sent those emails n clues.

but what arjun did directly doubted on saanjh n blamed her insecure. without thinking who sent those mails .

maya on other hand was sutradhar of that drama , called jhanvi on right tym and they played their rehearsed part very well.
