The central theme of today's episode was that Shivaay thinks the only way to manaao Anika is to go SSO on her...

But what does it mean to become SSO? SSO = manhandling? Really, writers? 😆 Ironically the manhandling doesn't work on Anika...she throws off his arms, telling him she isn't scared of him...so he actually falls back to the same old "I'll harm Sahil if you don't listen to me?" thing? For realz? 😆...and Anika even believes him? 😆

There's so many holes in this "logic", I can't even begin to plug them...

Now I understand that Billu mein itne rang hain ki shade card bhi capture na kar paaye but even by Billu standards, this was a pretty lol set of events.

For example, when he switched to SSO mode to make her sign the divorce papers, that was still at a more believable stage in their relationship...you want to tell me that after the jungle life saving routine, all the "main hoon naas", Shivaay can pull this and Anika doesn't laugh in his face? 😆

The first time around when he pulled this stunt during the wedding, I was laughing for a whole another reason because it looked so ludicrous...this time I'm laughing for a different reason...that this is MAJBOORI wala version of that same routine...LOL thus making Shivaay look even MORE lame...I didn't know it was possible to do that🤣

Ya toh ho that all this manhandling is supposed to satiate the fangirls who find this "hawt" or whatnot...but Shivika themselves just look pissed through the whole routine, not exactly romantically affected😆, which just added to the lameness IMO.

Also the fact that Shivaay had to PREPARE himself to go into SSO mode, giving himself a mental pep talk with a "Time to become SSO" line was just🤣

What I don't get is why he can't still be cold SSO to her WITHOUT resorting to manhandling...what are they trying to say here exactly? That you can only bend a woman to your will if you intimidate her physically? Are the writers even pausing to think before they write this? 😕

Sahil-Shivaay were cute together in the ice-cream eating scene but again the fact that both of them are so oblivious and almost seem to be enjoying their little "victory" over Anika is just😕...Shivaay actually smiled when he said he knows how to manaao Anika...so he really does think he can literally arm twist her into anything😕

Shivaay giving himself a little monologue saying, "Kaash main tumhein bataa sakta main yeh kyun kar raha hoon"...abey muh khol ke bol de na...and even more lol "Jab tumhein pata chal jaayega, shaayad tum mujhe maaf kar do"...HAIN?!...matlab he KNOWINGLY pulls this routine...not even over some lame MU like he did last time and then expects that she will find out the truth on her own and forgive him? 🤣

Also what was the point of the whole MUTE routine yesterday if today he was going to so coolly walk past Pinky and Tia with Anika as his wife? 😕😆...and then conveniently do the Lohri rituals outside with her too...so matlab unless Mrs. K is directly brandishing the blackmail video in his face, Billu has a free pass to randomly go back to playing husband to Anika? 😕😆

And what was that shoulder pe haath rakho bit? 🤣 Billu itna joker hai...and even the way he finally kept his hand on Anika's shoulder was so awkward😆...

The rest of the NB nonsense...main kya bolun...dhol mein gun😆

The CV did the same thing again 😭 When will they understand there is something called character growth.. SSO se zyaada bade ghochu toh yeh log hai.. IDIOT😡 Rebooting ki chakkar mein character destruction kar diya... $$#@#$$##$$😡😡

Sorry.. this post is just going to be rating the entire time... I ranted during the forced marriage manhandling as well.. In a much better state right now because I have no expectations from these CVs. 😡 Also, I paused /FFed the episode a lot because I just had to calm myself down or have no patience... 😆

The ice-cream scene😆 & Lohri parampara.. 😡

Pinky ki nonsense.. 😕 I get it that duniya ke samne Tia is his wife but how can the parampara be him doing the puja with Tia 😡

Silver Lining - Dadi did not irritate me today.. 😆

Sahil-SSO scene was all kind of adorable😳... BUT 😭 CVs, See the potential.. Uski bhi band baaja di..

NM Lori nahi.. LoHri.. 🤣(Watch from 2:54) NM ne bada hi weird accent mein bola or maybe I'm just too upset, so finding unnecessary flaws 😕😆

Luckily, the manhandling scene was not as elaborate as the wedding one and meine background mein chala diya!! and thank god No O-Jaana

The thing is, I am convinced that Shivaay is a nice guy and not a bad person as such. But I am not convinced that he is not a stupid guy. I mean, he is rich, he is successful, he has made it BIG... so, common sense would tell you that he probably knows a thing or two about problem solving, managing people, handling situations, negotiating, etc. But he hasn't proven his abilities in even one of these things so far.

SSO's way of managing anything is to throw around his power and money. Clearly, that doesn't always work. And the bright intelligent man that he is, he does not grasp such a small thing.

Everyone makes mistakes. He made a huge one. Forget redeeming himself, I was beginning to settle for the fact that he at-least realized that he was wrong, and in some way or the other was repenting his actions. But apparently not. She is broken beyond measure about how her brother was accused for a crime that he certainly did not commit, and SSO's way of convincing her to attend the rituals is by reminding her of that harsh instance and insinuating that he would repeat it if necessary? Haila.. yeh hoti hai tadibaazi? It was a bit disgusting to be honest.

Anika was upset, rightfully so. But when their hands touched while doing that ritual, was she going all gooey eyed on him again? Like come on... I was expecting that she will pull her hand away and not look at him at all. He kept touching her, and she kept looking at him. I did not enjoy today's oh jaana to be honest.

I have always wanted to see Saahil and Shivaay bonding. But today's did not go down well with me. firstly, they should have kept Saahil out of all the tamasha that goes on in OM. But letting Saahil the truth about Om was a bit hard to digest as it is. Now Shivaay is counting on the support of an 8 year old and showing some stupid tadibaazi? This is a new low even for SSO man. Day by day Sahil is proving to be the most intelligent thing in this show.

So, Shivaay let Saahil take one for the team because he wanted to save Om. I was trying my hardest to wrap my head around this thought, and baam... he wants to celebrate Lohri with Anika. So, what is he hoping now? That Mrs Kapoor has gone on a vacation to Mars where she wont hear of this? Celebrating Lohri with Anika is not supporting Anika in a sense? Or is Mrs. Kapoor's threat only valid when there is a disagreement on something? It is only then that Shivaay has to support Tia or rather not support Anika is it? Agar aisa hai toh yeh toh bahut shaana nikla. He has found a loophole and is exploiting it? I mean, who do they think we are to be fooled by this?

So I am guessing that Anika will someone find out that Shivaay took her place in the hospital. The minute that man is up, all his follies are yet again forgotten and she has become the sati savithri, catering to his needs... is that it? SSO can never do any wrong.. is that it?

I kind of feel bad for Om and Rumya's fans. I am a big ShivIka shipper and I am so frustrated with the both of them... I cannot imagine what their state is... Hahhahaha.

Today's episode was just wrong from all angles.. nothing justifies SSO

I wish the makers did not add the shivaay monologues today..his "i am doing all this for Om's sake" did not fit there at alll..

And if the makers idea was to reboot the shaadi scene, it was imo a wash out..

I like sahil- sso scene, when i watched the bts..isolated, this scenes is very nice. Sahil sso bonding..

But , with the ep today, i feel the makers failed to achieve what they were going for..

sahil, did watch the video play back of shaadi right? Akid who has scene that and supports Shivaay in doing tadibaazi to make Anika go for lohri, did not sit well with me..

I am also wondering along with Anika, how easily he wiped out everything that was developing between them and put the relationship back to where it began!

The thing that gets me the most is, he does not seem to be bothered by what he is doing..

Yes , he is affected by her tears, but not to extend that it can change the "core" man that is SSO..

And today his SSO style and tadibaaz all were mute, as this works only with Anika..

Rest of the world, (read NB)he is like beegi billi,

To top it all , shivaay is celebrating lohri, happily taking pics etc, without a second thot abt OM.. A monologue abt him worrying for OM or something was called for..

btw, shivaay did not introduce Anika as his wife. Makers came up with lame reason of there is only family no outside world, means press..

So are we to take it that some outside of OM also know shivaay married Anika and not tia?

Oh well, mein bhi nah, IB mein kya logic doodthi hoom😆

FBs were interjected , I guess to show us All those memories are still fresh in Anika's mind. And also somehow like in all the previous reboot scenes FBs , here also the makers were trying to correlate now and then? But failed miserably..

There is no way they have soften the premarriage man handling, emotional trauma that shivaay put Anika through..

Believe me when I say this... I want to sympathize with Shivaay. I really want to. But more than half of his problems are self created. And the other half can be handled intelligently. He is creating more problems instead of solving the ones at hand... and has locked his brains along with his heart 6 feet under. How can I sympathize with him now?😕

THIS...all of this...but then again, if we wanted to get technical...he hasn't TECHNICALLY shown remorse for THAT specific thing...the WAY the marriage happened...it hasn't been directly addressed...he felt regret for kidnapping Sahil when he learnt that he was physically handicapped, but that's about it...maybe that is why the writers feel it's all well and good to still bring this up and repeat it...that Anika can still believe that he'd do this cuz they are yet to directly address the pre-wedding tamasha and have Shivaay apologize/redeem himself for that specifically.

Still, all this left a bad taste in the mouth today cuz it came so close on the heels of them discussing just yesterday how their love for their brothers is common b/w them...the level of blatant hypocrisy was too high even by Shivaay standards...and then to just laugh the whole thing off light-heartedly...sort of compounded the problem...but well, this is IB...they've never really cared about the logic of what they randomly make light hearted I guess.

for one SSO didnt announce to anyone that Anika is his wife, just a simple family function it was, nothing else😆

Seriously is this what SSO is teaching an 8 year old boy, that physical mauling works to subdue a girl and make her do what he wants 'Facepalms"🥱

See i can understand that SSO is being blackmailed and that he loves Om more and hence will do anything to protect him! Maan bhi liya tha he had no choice but to keep quiet when everyone was accusing Anika and Sahil to be thieves! But seriously what he did today? the girl is broken, yet instead of a sorta of apologising and asking her to trust him, he turns into SSO

Like seriously? blackmail an already broken girl👎🏼

what a long day, Anika running away to avoid her feelings, ending up crying and telling him about her fears, him kissing her on her forehead, being accused of trying to murder an innocent life( not to forget the insults), seeing Om's rape accusation, again being reminded that she has no value in his life compared to OmRu( which is the first thing she actually liked in SSO since start), to accepting that she's in love with him and it's too late to do anything now, to the trauma of her brother being accused of stealing and SSO literally breaking her trust, and now instead of at least giving her a simple hint, he tries this stunt of manhandling and blackmailing her to force her to perform the rituals with him😆

Damn i would probably have gone crazy in her place, hopefully CVs have stated so many times how Anika is a super girl😆

About precap, i so wanted Anika to be hurt, because SSO being hurt doesnt make any difference since Anika will again guilt-trip and forgive him everything like always🥱

Couldnt they have given better dialogues to Ru and a cute scene to Rumya... ainveyi so much on dholak, gun, shooter, NBs😛

waise what a family? even if people dies, they wont stop with their functions🤣
