I know that it is hell too early to say something. But the promo is nothing like I expected.

First of all, 'The artist is the soul of the show', Gul had said. And indeed he was. You may like him or not, but you must admit that he was something different. His perception of the world, his nature and the depth of his character was truly like a breath of fresh air. And then he was butchered to a hypocrite, extremely idealistic fellow. Fine. Cool. And now he would be butchered in DBO till he is another of the tried-and-tested-experiment-ka-chuha. I seriously hope I am wrong but I don't want Om to become another Shivay/ASR/Naan Etc. No offence to SSO fans, but the point is Om was supposed to be different.

And to those who wanted a sarcastic, mean, wild, enigmatic, manipulative, grey or dark girl like a Lawyer or a female SSO... Yeah, the joke is on us.

I know, I know that we know next to nothing about Shrenu' s character. I think and I most definitely HOPE that she is a strong, ambitious, intricate character. She might even be grey and enigmatic but if that were so, the promo should have covered that. She might be completely white. I hope Gul proves me wrong.

Actually, she won't. I know her very well and keeping hopes from her has resulted in a huge heartbreak to me in the past too, and I am not going to repeat my mistakes.

Anyhow, A grey character would have looked good with the Original omkara. This Yet-Another-Tadibaaz-Mr.OSO is perfect for a runaway bride!

I just hope they don't ruin the uniqueness of RuMya. Looking forward to them and hope they get screenspace.😳

I do think they have played with Om's character to some extent minimum. But shrenu's we cannot be sure. Kya pata running into him is also a plan?😆

Yes exactly that's Wat am thinking. Maybe Kapoor Sisters have planted her melodramatic entry into Omkaras life. Shrenu could be a part of Svetlanas plan only.
As Harneet said everything is connected. My only worry is that they don't change Omkara from his original character. Pls Gul and let Ishqbaaz be the way it was earlier.

Idk if I should believe what Gul or her writers say. I am just done after Om got the same old Cliche story

Everyone is little disappointed with the promo but I think we should wait for some more time to draw any conclusion.
I hope they don't change the character of Om. He is the soul of IB!
