JNDSD~ My take 25th January 2017 ~ Wrestling against the vortex of time...

The use and choice of words in a sensitive situation is paramount.. as words in a given scenario can be misconstrued easily and convey mixed messages to listeners. Ravish frees Vividha of his name, their bond but in a veiled way he also clarifies to both sides of the family that Vividha continues to be a Vashist ... not his.. but one still spoken for Atharva Vashist ! Hence the lady continues to remain under the Vashist family name.. Ravish outlines, Atharva , Sujata, Vividha might be leaving but they continue to be strewn to this family by his father's namesake!

On the face of it a smooth transition from Delhi to Ajmer. Atharva remains the high maintenance persona. Centre of every one's attention! apple of everyone's eye.. the beat of Vividha's heart! Yet there is a bite in the atmosphere. A sense of concern , is he fully with it? Vividha wonders. Atharva on the other hand proves it he is all there.. fools around with Vividha s dadi bau ..just the way he used to make passes at the old biddy during days gone by. To satisfy all he verbally announces ,ah! but nothing has changed all is the same as it was.. what dramatic irony.. circumstances did change! and what's more the change continues . But the mute question for all about him is to decipher his complicated mental comings and goings. He even speaks sense , memories are connected with the cerebral and he recalls all! Where each family lived before.. but here are beings around him both man and beast! that have coronary connections with him.. the softer side of Atharva ..

Reverting to the past to justify the present.. is it selecting slices of life he wants to relive.. wooing his beloved, like Romeo did to Juliet during the balcony scenes. It's heart- warming to see how Atharva feels the need to pamper his slightly deprived, bruised love for Vividha. Surely staying apart from her all this time certainly needs some form of treatment! So he opts to choose the pleasant bits and literally blocks off the truth.. the whole truth.. nothing but the truth!

Yet one truth to put things in perspective for Atharva needs to be dealt with. That of, Guddi the lovable go between the two... its Vividha's nerve racking job to feed Atharva, small morsels of all news when he was indisposed ..Vividha , loves and now lives beside a man with an oscillating memory .In fact all who interact with him, can never tell the degree of his healing.. how much he questions ? like is he really aware of the time lapse of 3 months or does he repeat on rote, parrot fashion ..as everyone keeps telling him... or is he normal? Mostly people never accept the idea of seeing their loved one dead..hence his reaction after learning about Guddi .. denial about the terrible revelation. Vividha's mind set has always been to tell him the truth ..he has to deal with it, one way or another. That's how well she knows him. She rather finely deals with breaking the tragic news about her sister's death to Atharva. To me, mind you, him being on home territory has made it easier for both, she delivering the news and he at the receiving end.. his angst seems a normal reaction, I too would be livid if such news about a loved one's demise is kept from me. But his timely calm indicates, he is aware that the more he loses the plot , the more his beloved will be caused distress .Hence Atharva yet again becomes the man shuttling back forth in time .. depending once more on his loved ones to narrate to him the chunk of his life that was thumped into oblivion.. It's this somewhat strong yet needy vulnerability that draws me towards his character. It is noted though , that he still carries himself around as the strong male figure who has the ability to smooth the ruffled feathers of the females around him, Endumati,Uma, Sujata, Vivadhi. Seems like his bro soldier man Ravish likewise, is the calming factor for the females in the big house! Appears Ramakant's lads both have more brawn, brain and above all respect for women! than he ever did!

Vividha finally opens up about her uncertainty and insecurities... before him.. it seems so right , now that the eventful day is over.. have they not got lots to talk about.. they are in a setting familiar to both of them... Atharva's transparency, comes through, he too speaks out his concerns..gives her verbal TLC, acknowledges she has been hurled from circumstantial pillar to post. Rather tenderly, he probes her heart. It's almost as if he is willing to give her up to the comforts of a good life that she experienced at the Vashist household. Here , to me Atharva sounds off all that Kalash Kashup, aspired for his older daughter Vividha.. life with the affluent and influential, as opposed to life with the fatherless ,ordinary dairy man Atharva ... But Vividha makes full good use of bonding with her soul mate.. spills it all out. How it was to begin with in the big house, and how when he landed up at the Vashist household she clutched on to his infirmed being as dear life itself! This scene has to be the highlight of the episode , both Vividha and Atharva in the same frame discussing matters of mutual interest .. how he soothes her frayed nerves.. it's fine now the nightmare is over ,the reality is we are together ,after beating some odds..

Overall a fine episode.. Guddi's FB's were needed to show the impact the girl had on Vividha and Atharva s life.. also a dip into recent key incidents..needed for new veiwers . Atharva's sharpened sense of identifying unwelcome concealed presence, good ploy by CVs to convey that the lovers boat is likely to be rocked.. Hamlet53 25.1.17

Thanks very much for your gracious comments. It feels brilliant to make new friends ,and welcome old mates from IKRS on JNDSD.. much love hammie

Perfect. Can't describe it another way. BTW Chavanni and Spiderman story will be my all time favorite too until Indian television starts to give us more such sensible shows.

Dear Hammie 🤗

Watched the episode seems good to me...First of all a brilliant update, very well written ...your takes make it very clear to me, even thou I don't watch it get what is happening in the show. The beginning of the episode looked nice and it gave a good feeling, while reliving some good memories for Atharava.

The way the truth came out in front of him was very well shown not much of a drama, but to the point and I'm glad both Atharava got to know every bit of truth, seemed like he was very close to Guddi, that scene was very well enacted by the actor...I think I have seen him in Qubool hai 😆 me a Gul's fan can't help it remembering her shows.

The last scene was good, where they put forth their fears in front of each other, and they were comforting each other, over all I liked the episode, the music was good 😃...Your titles are always brilliant Ham...So glad to be here in your posts. 😃😃 Cya again. 😃

Till then take care. 😃

Thank you Sudha for welcoming me 😃 I don't exactly recall where did I see you...may be in Jen's shop, but I must have seen you somewhere ... But I'm really glad to meet you 😃

Hello Hammie ji,
another a brilliant take.as usual loved ur introduction.
👏

So Vividha is free now. Free from that relationship imposed by her father.
But is she completely free?when sindoor is applied on the parting it is not merely a color, it leaves its trace, it has to, a girl's dream from childhood , our culture, Marriage...not a child's play.
I don't know what will happen in this show next but as a general perspective i can feel k vividha is only released from a smaller prison from a larger one. Here she has to fight the society, but the biggest battle is to b fought within herself.

It ends in a warm hug, and a question, how much Atharva's Vividha has changed.

Loved ur ending as well.

Keep writing.
ohh old days.amusing.😆
