Revealed: Here's where Shah Rukh Khan's Aanand L Rai film will be shot

Here's where Aanand L Rai's next, a SRK-starrer will be shot

Shah Rukh Khan going all out promoting his upcoming release, Raees. But soon after the film hits the big screens, SRK will plunge into Imtiaz Ali's next allegedly titled, The Ring before kick starting work on Aanand L Rai's untitled next, in which he plays a dwarf.

The movie will be shot mostly in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, courtesy, the director's penchant for heartland stories. However, a tabloid has reported that Rai will also shoot some parts in the US.

A source close to the development told the tabloid, "Rai is in New York for the next 10 days for an elaborate recce. In his last trip, he zeroed in on a few locations for the shoot. He has gone to finalise the spots so that his team can get necessary permissions for the shoot. The film goes on floors in March."

Apparently, the movie's climax, which will be a 15-day schedule will be shot in the US, across Houston, New York and Atlanta. The source added, "This is just the pre-production stage. The makers are trying to understand feasible options for filming. It is possible that SRK will join Rai for the final technical recce that will take place next month."
