Would her mother have been happy that she sneaked out of the house and became intimate before marriage? I am not talking about whether Meghna as a 24 year old was entitled to do as she pleased. I am wondering if she thought about how her mother would feel.

Meghna is the one known to have followed her mother's shown path. She does mistakes, but is known to accept them too, if she goes anywhere wrong. For her, sharda's happiness and her swabhimaan matters the most. She would probably don't take a step which will cost her mother to suffer. I know she makes few decision in haste, but that's how her character is shaped. If she does something beyond that, it would surely look weired to all.
And for sneaking out to meet kunal in the middle of the night without informing sharda, has got some reasons behind it. Maybe she thought to explain her the whole scenario to her mother after she arrives home. She is a modern day girl, who doesn't follow the same age old norms and owing to kunal's challenge, she might have took this step.
She believes her to the fullest and I don't think she has done anything wrong in spending some quality time with him. She knows the difference between the right and the wrong, thats the reason she feels guilty at her mistakes at most of the times. And she would never take a step which would ultimately harm sharda's self-respect.
I think people around here should stop spectaculating several things on the basis of mere spoilers and look into the actual epis for better perspectives rather than bashing them either.
And if they are just trying to show all this to make out some solid reasons for nairan marriage, then it is not wrong in my perspective. Rest lies on your opinions and POVs!

I think nk will try to stop the marriage..Now naina know that meghna and kunal are one,so she will agree to marry karan

If consummation is shown then there must be a twist too..
