Vicky manages to get up but still is uneasy. He is drowsy during the net practice before the match. The coach asked, "Will you be able to participate in the match?"
Vicky: Yes, I'm fine.
Rishi: I can see how much fine you are. You need some rest.
Vicky: I need water.
The coach gets the water bottle for him.
Gautam comes. He said, "I think Vicky is not well. We should call the doctor."
Rishi: I don't know what he will say. Last night, I saw him vomiting after he drank the juice. He has been vomiting whatever has been given to him. I'm afraid what he will say. This is a crucial match. You, Manthan & me are the main players. Vicky is in the process of becoming a good batsman but he is a pinch hitter. He is like Shahid Afridi for us.
Gautam: You are Sachin Tendulkar of our team. I'm sure we will win. That is not a problem.
Rishi: As per the video, New Zealand has got good bowlers and their fielding is hard to penetrate. Anyway, call the doctor.
Gautam dials the doctor's number. The team doctor comes and checks Vicky.
Doctor: Did he eat or drink anything outside?
Vicky: It is been happening since I drank the juice at the club.
Doctor: Then somebody must have added the pill to it and have given to you. But nothing to worry, Since you have vomited, the effect is not there anymore. But it is because of dehydration. You have electrol, you will be fine.
Team yoga coach comes. Do meditation for half an hour. You will be fine.
Vicky does the meditation and gets the relief. He joins the net practice. It is a day & night match. After they are done with the session, everyone has the breakfast. However, Vicky has a headache. The coach gives him the tablet. Vicky gets relieved after an hour but is nervous about the match.
Varsha thinks, "Vicky you may recover and also play but I bet you won't be able to play."
At Spain,
The Indian team has reached the finals after defeating Australia. They now have to face the USA. They all practice very hard and are ready for the match.
The match begins. India & the United States are having a tough match. Scores are even with 50-50. Sujal gets cramps before the second half. Kashish goes to him.
Kashish: You are still here. The match is going to start.
Sujal: I'm not able to move. I have got cramps.
The team doctor comes.
Arnav: For the time-being, we are now one short of one good player. Sujal will join us later. You guys have to give your best. The second half begins, the tough fight still continues.The doctor is attending to Sujal who is doing exercises so he will get relief from pain. Sujal gets relieved. He joins the match. India is trailing by 4 points but they overtook the opponents after Sujal entered. At the end of the second half, there is a tie. The match has to be decided by the tie break. The USA players fail to make it for the tie-break whereas Rahul unfailingly puts the ball into the basket. Indian team wins the basketball championship.
Khushi is expecting the opponent to come but the opponent does not turn up. Khushi gets the walkover but she said, "I don't accept walkovers. You can postpone the match. My opponent has got high temperature."
The match referee, "The matches are already scheduled. We cannot postpone the match for one person."
Arnav comes to see the match and sees Khushi arguing with the referee. He asked, "What is happening here?"
Khushi: My opponent is not keeping well. So they are giving me the walkover which I cannot accept.
Arnav: Then you should be happy. The opponent is scared.
Khushi: Stop kidding. This is a serious matter. she is not well and has told me to speak to them as she can't even get up from her bed.
Arnav: I'm not kidding. It is her problem if she is not well. Why do you bother about others?
Khushi: What will I answer her?
The Chinese girl comes down.
Khushi: How are you feeling now?
Lili: I'm better. I will play. If I lose, I won't lose without a fight.
Khushi: As per the rule the opponent gets 20 minutes time to show up and she has come on time. Please start now.
Referee: Sorry, rules are different here.
Lily: That is not fair.
Arnav, Khushi, and Lily complain to the higher authorities. The director comes down and said, "Let the match begin."
He said, "I am sorry for what happened."
Khushi and Lily play the match. Both are having a tough match and are having an upper hand on their services. Lily wins in the tie-break. However, Khushi wins the second set comprehensively. The last one is the deciding set. Lily is feeling uneasy and is not able to play. Half of the match is played. Khushi is winning the third set. Lily forfeits as she faints. Khushi is declared as a winner of but feels bad for Lily. She goes to her and said, "I feel bad for you."
Lily: It is fine. You people have fought for me regarding the walkover. That is enough. Congratulations.
Khushi: You have played well. Better luck next time.
Arnav: It happens. Just chill. Fine, what will you have for making your mood alright? Khushi gets a call from Paridhi and asks, "How was the tournament?"
Khushi: I won the trophy but my opponent played though she was not well. She fainted in between. I feel bad for her.
Paridhi: You won. That is enough. I guess tomorrow is the last match.
Khushi: Yes. I will be facing Russian lady.
Paridhi: Best of luck.
At Australia
There is a heavy rain. Semi-finals get postponed to next day. Vicky gets relieved. He goes to Varsha and said, "I know you are the one who bribed the waiter. I never expected that to win the challenge, you will stoop to such a low level. It is really hard to believe that you are Adi's daughter."
Varsha: Yes, I did it. If you had not given me the kiss challenge, I would have kept quiet.
Vicky: Do you think I would really do that? If you think that I fell for you, then take it out of your mind. You are not the girl that I want. You are not my type and will not make you as my companion even if you are the last person on the earth. I was kidding and you took it seriously.
Rishi, Gautam, and Manthan overhear only Vicky's statement. They didn't hear Varsha's conversation.
Manthan: Why are you blaming Varsha for this? Tell me one good reason why she will do this?
Vicky: She has been making fun of me when I go to the ground. I also heard her talking to her parents that India should not win because of me. Varsha has confessed that she had put the pill.
Manthan: Varsha, is it true what Vicky said?
Varsha: No, I did not do anything. He has always been hating me for no reason even in the college. He has not got anyone. I can make fun of someone but I can never go to this level.
Manthan: What do you think about us? I am a vice-captain of this team. I help Rishi in selecting his team. Do you have any proof that Varsha did?
Vicky: I have seen her with the waiter.
Varsha: The waiter is known to me since school days. He could not continue his studies as he didn't have money and his father is dead. I asked him how he is. Manthan, please believe me.
Manthan: You are accusing Varsha.
Vicky: If you don't want to believe, don't believe. Even if you kick me out, I don't care. I am not going to play. I will tell the coach about it.
He goes to the coach and said, "Please take someone else. I am not going to play. The previous one which I played is the last one. I am booking the tickets for the next flight."
Coach: What is wrong with you?
Vicky: Ask your vice captain. He knows better. Varsha had added a pill to my juice. I had drunk that. Varsha is lying but Manthan is blindly believing her. He has threatened to kick me out. So I am leaving before he does that. I saw Varsha telling her parents that India should not win because of me. If I underperform, it will be a black mark on me. So it is better I quit.
Varsha sees that and smirks.
Coach: If you quit, you will be the loser. Don't go I will talk to Rishi. Let him decide about it.
Rishi meets the coach.
Coach: Vicky is leaving because of Manthan and Varsha. Please stop him. Whatever is the issue, we can discuss it and try to sort out. You were worried when he was not keeping well. Are you going to let him go?
Rishi: Manthan told me everything. I want to hear from Vicky's side. I confronted Manthan for talking to Vicky rashly. The team needs him. Vicky, please tell me.
Vicky tells him all that happened (dialogues are muted).
Rishi: If you leave, it would mean that you have falsely accused Varsha. You play this match. After the match ends, we will go to the club after that and find out. I am sure there will be CCTV footage.
Manthan: But if it turns out to be false, that is not going to be good for you.
The club waiter is going home after the shift. He sees Vicky and runs away which does not go unnoticed by Vicky.
Vicky: Just now I saw the waiter. He ran away seeing me. If he was so confident, would he run away? If you all insist, I will definitely play.
Manthan: Are you sure that he is the same person?
Rishi: Shut up Manthan. I have seen Varsha talking to him but I don't know what conversation they had. I'm going to go through this matter seriously. Nothing is as important for me as much as winning the match.
Gautam: The match is tomorrow. We are done with our net practice. Why don't we go to the spot and find out?
Rishi & Manthan: Yes, earlier the better.
Everyone goes to the club. Rishi goes to the manager to show the CCTV footage about that incident.
Manager: If you had come to me the next day, I would have shown it to you. If you want, you meet the owner of this club. I cannot take the risk. The manager gets the phone call. He asked, "There is an inquiry about the CCTV footage. Please talk to the person."
Owner: Fine.
Rishi: One of the waiters have given a drugged juice to one of my team-mates. He also ran away seeing him. I request for the footage. Whatever is the amount I will pay but I want the information.
Owner: No need of that. I saw him vomiting. It was a blood vomit. The pill was very powerful. Even if the person takes one pill, it can be dangerous. I will help you. Give the phone to the manager.
Owner: Fernand, please do the needful.
the entire team sees the footage and get o know that Varsha is behind it.
How will the team handle it?
