OS-|| Life In Love||

It was her last night at the Oberoi Mansion.

She sat by the pool, gazing at the full moon's reflection on the calm water. How her heart wanted the time to stop there! Let the moon be complete forever. But that was against the cycle. Couldn't this ever running cycle stop for once. No it will never.

She would be gone tomorrow. Away from The Oberoi Mansion. Away from The Oberoi Family. Away from "HIM".

A sad curve grew up her face. She had made the mistake. She had to face the consequences. She knew it, and yet couldn't help but do that was not meant for her. "Fallen In Love". And what was even worse she had fallen for the forbidden man, the wrong man, the flawed man. Tears rolled down her cheeks.

It had ached when he had hurt, but now it pained even more.
It had pained when he married her forcefully against her wish, but it tormented now that he had divorced her with her wish.
It pained when he used the treacherous tongue to accuse her, to break her; but it pained even more that he silently wanted to fix everything he had broken.
She broke down, saying aloud what her heart felt at the moment, in the slightest hope that her questions maybe answered.

"Why are you so unfair to me Life?"

"Why did he come into my Life, if he wasn't to stay forever?"

"Why did you make me do that I wasn't supposed to?" Love.

"Why in the entire world did I choose HIM?"

Why was it that she couldn't say what she felt, nor could be without saying?

Her questions fell into the deaf ears of her Destiny. Her voice faded away in the darkness of Light. She now lost the little hope she had held in her heart, of something magical that could set things the way she wanted it. She smiled ironically in anguish. After a few moments of silence, reality struck her.She quickly wiped those tears.

"No Anika...you can't break now, the new morning awaits you, a new chapter of life. You can't think about him, you shouldn't, you now don't even have a right to. You are no longer his wife, that you had thought you were. Don't think about him. He is nothing to you. Nothing, Just a Nobody."

"A nobody" she whispered to herself. She closed her eyes trying hard to not let those drops fall. Each drop that rolled out gave her relief but at the same time brought her to reality. She couldn't even cry at peace. She felt helpless. She just cried her heart out.

As he stood by the window, he looked at the full moon smiling. As if mocking him. She would be gone tomorrow, maybe forever. He wouldn't get to see her every day. He couldn't stop her. She was no one to him.He had wanted things to go this way, then why did it hurt now, why did he dread the thought of the next day.? Why did he want time to stop?

She had become an essential part of his life, of HIM !

She always stood by him in is toughest time .Trusted him when his family didn't. Believed in him, when he himself didn't. She completed him. When they were together they were like the full moon, shining through the darkest night.

His blue-eyes moistened, she wouldn't be here tomorrow. He never accepted her as his wife when she was. And now when she wasn't he wanted her as his wife. Forever. He wanted her to stay by him forever.

"No Shivaay...don't...its better she be gone! She doesn't deserve you! You don't deserve to be loved by her! She was beyond your reach Shivaay! You had caged the bird and kept her hostile! Let her go ... She deserves to fly...! You did wrong, you trapped her in the cage cause you knew she would never come to you all by herself. Please don't let history repeat! If you are sorry for what you did..let her fly...Let Her Go For Good! She will never be happy caged, even if it's a golden cage! You fell for her, that's your problem. She dint plead to be loved. For her happiness let her go..." A lone tear trickled down his distressed face. "Go Anika...this time I won't stop you, won't cage you down, Go..!" He rubbed the tear and slept his heart at war with his selfish head, defending HER FREEDOM.

Her tears had dried but the pain remained. She sat up tired. "I know Shivaay, I am not meant for you. If I am the ground you are the sky. If I'm the wave you are the shore. If I am the moon you are the sun. You may never understand how much I love you, but that won't stop me from loving you forever. I will go Shivaay away from you away from your life, for your sake. I promise never to let my shadow fall on your bright face. I will never let my love, be hindrance for your pride for your name! I know you are my weakness, but I will make my love for you my strength! I will go away Shivaay forever.! Forever." She lifted up her tired self and slowly lay down on the couch counting minutes. Sleep took over her tired soul.

The next morning she got up with an aching head. She had to go...in a matter of few hours. She put up a strong face to camouflage her pain. She reached the room he wasn't there. She sighed and saw her suitcase she had packed the last evening. She got dressed and went down with her suitcase. Sahil was already there his suitcase placed aside. He sat opposite on the sofa adjacent to the one on which Rudra sat as they played Snakes & Ladder. Om stood behind the Sofa cheering Saahil, while Shivaay stood behind the sofa on which Rudra sat, smiling at their game.

As he felt her presence, he looked up, their eyes met.

He straightened up, staring at her. He smiled formally. She returned an equally formal one. Both look aside and sigh.

"Saahil" she called.

Saahil looked up at her"Yes coming"

"Okay Rudra Bhaiya got to go!"

Rudra-"But we haven't finished the game yet.!"

Saahil-"Offo..He will never...because once the ladder and then the snake bites and the loop continues.!"

Rudra looked up sad, unable to believe that they would be gone probably forever. "Why couldn't she stay...there wasn't any problem Tia was gone, Pinky would be okay if she stayed, Saahil would be okay.? Then why did these two have a problem, he was sure they loved and loved crazily! It was only know that he felt that they were not crazily in love but they were crazy people in love...Why were they ready to let go the other.?"

"Didn't loving someone mean wanting to be with them forever no matter what! Then why are they ready to Let go..?" he wondered.

Anika smiled and hugged every member except him of course. She dint say much, cause she feared her words if they came out would bring out cries and tears. She dint want to be weakened now. It had taken great courage to come to the point at which she was. She dint want to look back. As she moved ahead she came face to face with him. He looked composed, but his eyes reflected something else. She chose to ignore it. She couldn't say a bye, couldn't hug him for the one last time, couldn't even hold his hand for the one last time. She feared she wouldn't leave if she held it once.

She just walked past him, holding her little brother's hand. He looked back waving a bye to the others, but she dint. She disappeared from sight. Everyone was extremely sad and left for their rooms. Saying Goodbye was hard. But saying Goodbye to someone close to the heart was a still harder process. He stood there, alone, staring at the doors, in the slightest hope that she would come running back. Five minutes passed and his hope faded away.

That night he stood yet again by the window, staring at the silent sky, he looked up at the moon, it was incomplete just like him. He closed his eyes all that remained was her memories.

She looked at the moon, the glow it had yesterday was no longer the same, it had grown dull. Just like her. She sighed and closed her eyes, treasuring the time she had spent with him.

If only the two had realized then that-

If she was the ground and he was the sky, they always met just that they dint notice!

If she was the wave and he the shore, they rested only after meeting the other.

If she was the moon and he was the sun, his companionship was the sole reason of making her existence felt to the world.

If she was the bird and he the one to cage, this bird had understood his love and care for it which made him cage her.

If only he had realized then that she knew it wasn't a cage but an aviary!

If only she had realized then that her shadow gave his blazing self the much relief.

If the Full moon shrunk now there would also be a New moon.

If Life made them cry now it would also make them smile tomorrow.

But that's the hard part, they cursed life then, if only they knew Life had much Beautiful plans then they could ever imagine.!

I try hard to not make things complicated, but they tend to complicate all by themselves.
I am sorry if it was high in the philosophy content.😆

The title might vary with my mood..cause I m still not fully-satisfied.😛
