Sony Entertainment Television Asia's 'Viruddh' is coming to an end - that's old news! The latest news is its replacement - 'Babul Ka Aangan Chootey Na'.

The Chota Ganpati Creation produced show has been announced as the new show, which will occupy the 22:00 timeband when the Smriti Irani soap ends later this month.

According to Telly Chakkar, the show has Aastha Choudhary in the lead with Sana Sayed of 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' fame who plays her sister.

"It's a story of a middle class girl who is stuck in a dilemma. On one side it's her family and on the other side it's her husband and his parents. I have just begun to shoot and am enjoying it thoroughly," says Aastha.

It's been indoctrinated that a girl after her marriage is like a guest for her parents. "Shaadi ke baad pati ka ghar hi sab kuch hota hai..." The crucial question for the audience being, "What would you have done in a similar situation?" she questions.

Aastha believes that the story is common. "Yes, it is general as it caters to a general audience. People can find this situation in their own houses. Audiences can relate to themselves on the show."

'Babul Ka Aangan Chootey Na' launches on Monday 21st January on Sony Entertainment Television Asia.

Yea I have seen it too. There are 2 promos of it at least in one break. It seems to have caught attention in my home. Looks like a good show. Let's wait and watch.
